In alcohol abusers, testosterone levels drop and estrogen levels elevate. This is why some physicians specializing in hair replacement inject steroids or testosterone – blocking hormones directly into the scalp to stop hair loss and promote hair regrowth.

In fact, most beauty gurus and ‘experts’ of the sorts say you should try to wash your hair every two to three, even four days- or as long as you can make it.
