I looked up these adorable creatures on etsy and they may be extremely adorable but they are also extremely expensive. They're priced from 250-350$! Why are they so expensive?!?
They are handmade, my mom makes stuffed, pose-able dragons similar to these toys, and each one takes over 40 hours of crafting and hand-sewing (even though she does a lot with the sewing machine). She wouldn't sell one for less than $300, which is pretty reasonable considering you'd be paying someone $7.50 an hour if it takes 40 hours to make, and that's not even including the cost of materials or shipping.

Think of it as paying for a one of kind toy, especially if its handmade. It will be unique in its own right, no one else will have an exact replicate.
