When I Couldn’t Photograph Weddings During Covid19 I Photographed The Love Story Of My Wife & Her Cat
Covid19 is a bit of a weird time to be a professional wedding photographer. There’s no weddings happening but you’ve got to keep your skills up. Stay sharp. Keep your eye for detail and moments finely tuned so you’re ready for when weddings are back.
I decided that rather than just binge Netflix for 4 months maybe a better idea was to document the love story of my wife & her cat, “Storm” a 1 year old Burmese with a flair for… well naps and violence appear to be his two main loves at this stage in his young life.
I know a lot of people take a billion pictures of their cats. It’s a favourite subject matter of the internet. But I wondered what it might look like through the eyes of a professional wedding photographer using professional photo gear, not an iPhone to get the job done. The results are pretty funny, hopefully not just to me.

It's so hard not to day nap with a cat. Love the pix of her cradling the cat & all you see is her ring. Love is cyclical.
