When I was little, I was angry and got sent to my room. I just layed on my bed the whole time. The same day my mom found a break in this little statue. She thought that I snuck down and broke it. Every day for like a week, she pulled me aside and asked if I had broken it. Of course I said no, because I hadn't. She thought I was lying and kept asking until I actually did lie, saying I did it.
It is really kinda sad to me because she never stopped to think that I was telling the truth. It's not even like I lied all the time. To this day, she still thinks I did it
