Creative Mom Turns Her Baby’s Naptime Into Dream Adventures (Updated)
Do babies dream when they sleep, or they simply rest peacefully? Queenie Liao, a freelance photographer, and mother of three baby boys living in California have tried to answer this question by sharing the adventurous dramas that her child Wengenn dreams of during his sleep.
Combining artistry and imagination with photography, Queenie has created these cute photos using plain cloths, stuffed animals, and other common household materials to create the background setting.
Her album – Wengenn in Wonderland – is a compilation of over 100 creative pieces of baby photography that depict the continuous exploration of her son Wengenn in his magical land of charm and wonder.
She drew inspiration from other creative mommas like Adele Enersen and Anne Geddes but gave the baby photoshoots her own imaginative fairytale twist.

It is more creative than before but let me ask you what you will do when you'r Baby grow up and stopped being co operative with you in sleep
OMGosh! How amazing, original & surreal, imagine all the elements needed to make these happen, once he's up it's over till next time - wow!
I think these are fantastic - I am going to give it a go! Might try it with the husband too!
INGENIOUS, AMAZING, WONDERFUL, DELIGHTFUL, shall I go on.... WOW!
idea originated in sweden a couple of years ago. the mom's name's adel, don't remember the family name. creativity rocks!
Beautiful. That baby will grow up and always cherish those pictures... And his mom.
These are nice pics, but... this mom SHOULD STOP CLAIMING THAT IT WAS HER IDEA. She said she got inspiration from Adele Enersen... Really? Did she she Ms Enersen pictures named "When My Baby Sleeps" So, Ms Liao should admit she stole the idea from Adele Enersen. But pics are still beautiful. My cousin did about 50 pics like for her baby when she saw Ms Adele Enersen work, and they came out beautiful too!
Who cares who "originated" this idea? WHO CARES? All ideas come from somewhere and the truth is there is nothing new under the sun. Geez, can't we all just enjoy something without being snarky about it? I don't care WHERE this idea came from, this lovely woman took the time and energy to put her own collection together and I imagine it was a considerable amount of time and energy. If no one ever took an idea from somewhere else and ran with it nothing would ever get done in this world. I can barely wait to do something like this with my little grandson.
This is very creative and beautiful. This little guy will someday be amazed to find these in a book or on a wall display. Glad I could take a peek at his dreams.
This is bringing a lot of people joy on my page today! Thanks for sharing your sweet talents and sweet baby!
I love this, I am about to have my firs child and I would love to take some photos of my daughter like that... ps will pay good.

A Dutch mother produced a book based on the same theme. Mooi :-)
some people are so darn amazing and creative very cool
The pictures are wonderful. But to claim they are the child's dreamland is ludicrous. That would be another example of an adult imagination being forced upon a child's. Let this be what this is: Queenie's imagination expressed through a wonderfully creative medium and extremely arresting use of the sleeping child in the images (even if the idea originate elsewhere, it still is great work).
You have a true gift Queenie Lo beautiful pictures xx
