Everyone says something stupid from time to time. Though, most of us probably get away with it pretty easily, since people just laugh it off and forget about our silly brain farts pretty fast. However, if you're one of the famous people then it's a completely different story. It appears that everything a popular celebrity says (or tweets) is carefully logged on the internet and available at all times. Especially if that person doesn't appear to be the smartest cookie in the jar or is lacking some basic education, then that kooky celebrity quote is going to be here forever.

We here at Bored Panda decided to dig into that cloud of shame and find out what are the most stupid quotes that were said by Hollywood stars and famous people from different paths of stardom. From funny to completely delusional, these interesting quotes will certainly make you feel better that you're not the one who said these things in public. Scroll below to read the dumb quotes list!

Someone please put him back in school. Sports and religion both seem to be against critical thinking.

Okay- pretty sure this was said when she was really going through it, as in shortly before she was institutionalized. Soooo... yeeshk. Yeah, she said a lot of messed up stuff, because mental illnesses will do weird things to you. Because of that this one just seems more mean to bring up.

Her mental health was on a downward spiral for a good few years at that time. She posted a lot of really weird tweets. She has since removed herself from the public eye and is getting help.

Well, she has grown up in a business that judges people on how they look. She doesn't have a good perspective about that issue. Also, no surprise that she would have psychiatric issues. I hope she is doing better now.

Some of the insults on here towards another woman are pretty vitriolic. Like about her dress size, looks, etc. Judging her for her looks and placing all her value on them doesn't make you a better person than Amanda Bynes-- it makes you worse. Cuz she was having a mental health issue when she wrote this stuff, but some people are just straight up nasty at heart. I remember when this happened and she literally changed over night. She was fighting with everyone online. She also said she was in love with Drake, kept tweeting him inappropriate weirdness, then she wanted to eliminate the 'fold between her eyes,' with plastic surgery (which she got) she got arrested multiple times, etc. She was put on a full psychiatric hold and she's better now, apparently.... but the damage to her health and career etc has really messed up her life. Being cruel to her for that is pretty sad.
