Everyone says something stupid from time to time. Though, most of us probably get away with it pretty easily, since people just laugh it off and forget about our silly brain farts pretty fast. However, if you're one of the famous people then it's a completely different story. It appears that everything a popular celebrity says (or tweets) is carefully logged on the internet and available at all times. Especially if that person doesn't appear to be the smartest cookie in the jar or is lacking some basic education, then that kooky celebrity quote is going to be here forever.
We here at Bored Panda decided to dig into that cloud of shame and find out what are the most stupid quotes that were said by Hollywood stars and famous people from different paths of stardom. From funny to completely delusional, these interesting quotes will certainly make you feel better that you're not the one who said these things in public. Scroll below to read the dumb quotes list!

Carl Everett
"God created the sun, the stars, the heavens and the earth, and then made Adam and Eve. The Bible never says anything about dinosaurs. You can't say there were dinosaurs when you never saw them. Somebody actually saw Adam and Eve eating apples. No one ever saw a Tyrannosaurus rex."
Someone please put him back in school. Sports and religion both seem to be against critical thinking.
Shaquille O’Neal
Reporter: “Did you visit the Parthenon during your trip to Greece?”
Shaquille O’Neal: “I can’t really remember the names of the clubs we went to.”
Kanye West
"I actually don't like thinking. I think people think I like to think a lot. And I don't. I do not like to think at all."
Britney Spears
"I’ve never really wanted to go to Japan. Simply because I don’t like eating fish. And I know that’s very popular out there in Africa"
Paris Hilton
"No, no, I didn’t go to England, I went to London."
I don't live in North America. I live in the United States of America
Jaden Smith
“If everybody in the world dropped out of school, we would have a much more intelligent society.”
It would make zero difference to intelligence, but now with an uneducated society.
I upvoted that just to make it 70 upvotes and not 69 and that was a good point :P

I don't think that's true.. but I can see why h think that
Load More Replies...What he means I think, and to which I agree is that a lot of our Western education systems do not provide for many, many people out there. Especially the kind that will get educated just because the information is all around us. He is also an example of what happens if there is no structure in learning about how to learn and lacks the life experience to put a lot of the freely available information into perspective. We need an educational system, the current one does need some work though.
Load More Replies...Actually..I get what he's saying. American public school systems try to fit all the kids in perfect little boxes channeling them towards a career they think they're suited for instead of allowing the kids to figure it out for themselves. If the kids, instead, went to schools that were geared towards what they want to pursue, you'd find a lot more intelligent people out there. It's like expecting your General Practitioner to do open heart surgery. Sure he could probably do it. But wouldn't you rather have a surgeon that specializes in cardiovascular surgery?
I would like to hear the context, there was probably more to the point. Not as literal as this sentence sounds
I think I remember this, he was talking about homeschooling or something. Statistically, he's right.
Load More Replies...say someone who could've been in any expensive school in the world… while others fight just for being able to eat.
He's homeschooled lol he only went to a real school for a few weeks of his life just to see what it's like and he hated it so now he's talking s**t about school

This kid's gotten entirely too much airtime. He should've sat down and close his mouth long ago.
"We don't need no education.... we don't need no thought control..." someone's been listening to Pink Floyd
You keep thinking like that son, don't worry your trust fund will keep you alive even if your intellect won't
I think Will said he wanted to be different than his parents. He had a father left him, another step dad who was very strict. There are 3 things that are pretty clear; Will tries to give his children more freedom than he had, he tries to keep his angry reactions to things on the low, and his fear of going bankrupt again, pretty much shapes a lot of what we see. It's working. People forget about the assault charge, forget about the smacking of a dude on the red carpet because of a prank, and seem to associate him with big smile Fresh Prince. He's a guy from Philly. As a chick from Philly, lol I see it a similarity in some people over here.
To be fair, school did kind of kill my like for learning. School teaches more about following rules than anything else. Blindly following rules, sometimes.
School teaches stupid people to read. They'll still be stupid, but they can read and communicate.
It's surprising and disconcerting how many Millennials believe this.
If we stopped interviewing the questionably talented offspring of celebrities, we have a much more intelligent society.
Only if they was told in the school that nobody ever see Tyrannosaurus Rex
Most of the things this guy has said/tweeted could be on this list.
Whether it's in school or on the streets, either you're intelligent enough to know how to synthesize information, or you're going to be lead around by the nose by others that ARE more intelligent then you. Only they won't have your best interest in view. Kind of like it is now.
Maybe you could explain then? Clearly the rest of us are missing something.

In his defense, "Christening" is in reference to "Christ" and Christianity and thus, could apply to multiple religious rituals/rites.

Let us not forget Sir Cheeto, king of lies: "I have a great relationship with the blacks." "The beauty of me is that I'm very rich." "Grab them by the pussy." "I've said if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her." I can keep going.
Dumb, yes, but human nonetheless…show me a Panda who never said anything dumb!
"Celebrities".... I had to google half of them cause I've never seen or heard about them
Nothing about Katy Perry and buffalo wings??? It was so popular Pizza Hut even hired her to be in a commercial.
I love this, and i love when people from hollywood teach us about morals, politics, world views ect
How about the vast majority of what Charlie Sheen has said. Or some of George W. Bushism's.
Why seem so many Americans do not know about geography or other countries history?
I was on holiday recently in Botswana where the guide told us that an overseas visitor had been watching the hippos, and when one climbed out of the river she commented 'Oh- I didn't know they had legs'. Of course, everyone knows that they are 1 ton inflatable grey balloons.
Kelly Pickler has said much worse. She is playing the "dumb blonde" card on purpose
Yeah, I think many influencers and celebrities are doing that. Easy way to get attention (= more money). Kinda smart actually
Load More Replies...So basically this was a rant about people saying things in a moment where they misspoke or misunderstood something, or were misunderstood, or just plain got something wrong, and everyone gets to gang up on them for making mistakes? This society is so sad that we must take the time to point out the faults of others and make fun of them. So very sad. I do hope our society can grow up one day.
Elizabeth Hurley's remark was nasty and vicious.
