My husband n I just renovated a house we bought n there was cat piss ALL OVER THE HOUSE when we bought it n I could legit get a whiff n track it all the way down to the exact spot n it literally DROVE ME FUCKEN NUTS.. always getting a slight whiff of ammonia while I'm walking thru to living room or while I'm about to fall asleep... meanwhile my husband is living his blissful, weak-ass nose life n basically gaslighting me n telling me that I'm nuts... well he learned real quick once we got the carpet torn up that I AM NOT CRAZY n we were literally surrounded by urine... Yep. I believe a lot of neck of femur fractures in the elderly happen in the process of falling (as opposed to the sudden stop at the the end) for this very reason: the body suddenly trying to right itself with all its strength (on an already likely osteoporotic bone)

This is true. My mom lifted a car off my dad when it fell while he was working on it. She did it one handed too. The other hand she used to pull him out.
This is one of these huge myths that floats around the internet. No, you cannot lift a car due to adrenaline. Adrenaline will make it possible for you to disregard your own safety and as such give you access to more strength at the cost of your health, but you still need to be a strong man or woman in order to lift a car no matter the circumstances.
I reckon I could lift a car, if it was very small and I had maybe 30 people helping me.
True … my uncle held up the cab of a semi to keep the drivers head above water for 4 hours. He saved his life. He went back the next day and could not lift it an inch.

It is real; it's caused by your sympathetic nervous system... (Fight or flight responsonse). It's to allow your brain to take in as much info as possible. It's not just about fighting for life, but if your brain is very excited, it will do this as well.
