The “Cursed Architecture” Twitter Feed Showcases The Best Of The Worst (40 Pics)
Whether we're talking about the subreddit Crappy Design or the Instagram account Ugly Irish Houses, the Internet seems obsessed with tasteless crimes against aesthetics and functionality. If you are too, the Twitter account "Cursed Architecture" is right up your alley.
Its hellish content includes strange angles, melting paint, vaguely threatening toilets, stairs that lead to nowhere, and more. Basically, the kind of stuff that architects and interior designers would imagine in a horror-comedy. But believe me, you don't have to be an industry pro to appreciate these pictures. They're so bad, us regular folk will get them as well. Enjoy!

Wanted to build a wall, did not want to remove the sink, so... Voilà.
Load More Replies...It`s simple: When you are tired, you can lean your head against the wall while handwashing!
If it was tiled in the recess, it would be cute, but this way we just know it's a botch
Now I know where sinks come from. Missed that class.
Load More Replies...But this isn't really architecture 😂 maybe the designers or something
I'm just trying to imagine a person actually in the process of installing this. I mean--what were they thinking??!!
This can go both ways: be very stupid or very smart. It´s all about context.
now, Let's be honest, they were just lazy, either put the bloody sink on the wall like every sane person on this planet would or just make the hole bigger and put a mirror there so it looks at least a bit intentional!
waterfountain vs urinal....please let there be a sign outside the frame
Dude imagine going to take a drink after running cause your desperate then you lift up and hit the s**t out of your head
i'm sorry but what the hell is this? How the hell am I supposed to wash my goddamn hands in this abomination? Who even made this? The poor sink or water fountain just wanted to fit in. Well, I take that back, he seems to be fitting in perfectly fine.
Complete with ghost of the first victim to fail to navigate these steps!
Oh, God - the 70s. You can bet this combo also came in purple, brown and "harvest gold"

No... there are countries with little in the way of building codes and few people to enforce what codes do exist.
Load More Replies...A lot of these are just bad decor, and have nothing to do with architecture.
