Whether we're talking about the subreddit Crappy Design or the Instagram account Ugly Irish Houses, the Internet seems obsessed with tasteless crimes against aesthetics and functionality. If you are too, the Twitter account "Cursed Architecture" is right up your alley.

Its hellish content includes strange angles, melting paint, vaguely threatening toilets, stairs that lead to nowhere, and more. Basically, the kind of stuff that architects and interior designers would imagine in a horror-comedy. But believe me, you don't have to be an industry pro to appreciate these pictures. They're so bad, us regular folk will get them as well. Enjoy!

Check the door down the hall for a nice stab in the back.

Was this meant to be a suicide door, or was there supposed to be a porch?

At least the stairs aren't that corrugated metal crap that you can see through, I still wouldn't want to walk down this though!

If you like an open floor plan the apartments are very nice, great views. But, no thanks

takes the idea of all day shopping to a new level ... 4 hrs shopping, 8 hrs going down, then back up the stairs to your penthouse view

Well, I'm sure they'd be glad to use it if there is ever a fire. . . maybe? How do they get to it, crawl over the rails?

imagine tripping and starting a tumble fall down the stairs, the endless stairs ... one good thing, you'll not be awake by the end, maybe not alive either ...

In North Dakota we used a similar, only it was a covered slide.

It's in Sao Paulo, Brazil. If you look up Edificio Copan (Copan Building) online, you can see three sets of these stairs on the back of the building. It is also an interesting fact that around 5,000 people live in the 1,160 apartments of this building.

Makes you want to take a soccer ball up to the top and time its arrival, and its speed, at the bottom. Wouldn't want to meet it half-way, though!

This marvel is for cross-eye correction therapy. As you spiral down once daily, that cross-eye gets straightened. A bonus too in the offing... on landing, your head would spin....you could see your back again n again n again n .....

Ok anyone else mad they made it so you can't just straddle the rail and have a 40 story slide? It would be EPIC.

It took me a minute to find the structural mistake. Where the staircase meets the building, there is an opening on each floor to get on the stairs. This doesn't match up when you try to enter the staircase. Big drop off on your first step.
