We all had to spend more time than expected at home in 2020. Our need to find entertainment and a social outlet saw a surge in the popularity of retro video games. And this got us thinking, what if some of our favourite retro games were reimagined to illustrate 2020?
We took a lighthearted look at what we might be playing if games like Pac-Man, DooM, Paperboy and Tetris had been conceived in 2020.
Personal Space Invaders lets us take out our frustrations on those who don’t keep their distance, let’s be honest, we’ve all met them! Toilet Paperboy allows us to play at being the hero of the hour, delivering the valuable commodity of toilet paper to those in need. Panic-Man dodges potential infections whilst navigating the supermarket aisles to panic buy necessities. And Microsoft Life Simulator lets us simulate, well, life as we used to know it!
