We hand made these bow ties from natural birds feathers – each of them is always a bit unique like every bird feather is unique, just like we want the wearer to be unique – they are made with reverence and love!

We created the Zuzzo project because of the huge gap in the market that would not allow us to dress ourselves both elegantly and in a very unique style.

To meet this need, to be chic when needed and cool when you hang out with friends, using the accessories that we love, such as bow ties and suspenders, but only high quality and unique ones (even literally one of a kind) – we founded a company that would provide such crafts – our small pieces of every day art.

We love all of our products, but the idea that we are most proud of is a creation of handmade bow ties, made of unique, natural feathers (legally gathered during natural process of moulting – because we do love animals and we think ecology is far more important then just getting the revenues – that also concers fashion world).

Inspiration was the 1920s – a period of economic development, great fortunes, prohibition, black and white colors and large-format stars. We instantly thought of Great Gatsby from the book by Francis Scott Fitzgerald.

Creating this bow tie we were inspired by the most recognizable butterfly in the world, whose dark orange color and white dots at the end of the wings are the hallmark. The monarch is a butterfly that can travel up to 3,000 km.

The Monarch bow tie is made of feathers of tragopan and guinea fowl.

Morpho refers to a group of blue butterflies that owe their blue color not to a blue pigment but to an unusual optical phenomenon called the structural color. We can see the blue color on butterflies thanks to the complicated structure of the butterfly’s wings, which reflect the intricate light.

Our inspiration in its creation was the simplicity and the beauty of guinea fowl feathers. Different sizes of white dots on a black and gray background allowed us to design a symmetrical, elegant pattern. This cut fits perfectly for every occasion, from weddings to social gatherings.

When creating this bow tie, we thought of scarabs, of which there are about 30 species. In ancient Egypt, scarabs were a symbol of the journey of the sun in the sky and its rebirth.

Our inspiration to create that bow tie was the rattlesnake skin pattern. The rattlesnake skin is a set of countless scales, overlapping each other, creating an unforgettable pattern.

To create this bow tie we were inspired by the beauty of peacocks, which in Indian culture (by Idra himself) were considered the most beautiful of all birds. We wanted to show their unique color and the way they shine.

This small berries (Pollia condensata), growing in Africa, are distinguished by their blue color – more intense than any other plant in the world. It is because of the structure, not pigments. Although most cells appear blue, some, viewed from an angle, are green, pink, or yellow. Exactly the same can be seen on our bow tie.
