I wanted to depict strong women warriors who do not necessarily look like the typical warrior. With different sizes, ages, and body types, each one feels like she has a rich backstory and history.

A simple farm girl forced to hunt down bandits in order to save her younger siblings.

I am going to use her image to illustrate a young shield maiden in one of my rpg campaigns.

Get this pack off my back. Frenchie's like laying like a loaf, farting, sleeping and zoomies. NOT being a pack mule.

Weapons and armor evaluation: she doesn't seem to be wearing much in terms of armor other than what looks to be a slightly padded vest, but the sword looks nice. It's a two-handed sword that looks maybe *just* long enough to be more optimized for two-handed use. The sword does look relatively large compared to the girl, but I have to keep in mind she's bending down to look at her adorably guilty-looking dog. Swords of this size from the medieval period as I understand were anything from two to three pounds, think putting it at four would be pushing it, but it's not like she wouldn't be able to hold it and carry it around easily. Strength does matter in a fight unless you have tactics and in this case, weapons and armor. Pretty good sword is basically all I have to say. Tell me anything I got wrong or overlooked.

Ok, correction: The bigger swords which were more exclusively used on the battlefield and maybe ceremonies were just above four pounds but rarely ever got above that weight.

Not really. The biggest swords of the medieval period were usually never heavier than 5 pounds and even slightly below that would be the high end of sword weight in medieval Europe.

I want to know her story. Why does she have a duck? Why does the duck have a fabulous victorian updo?

This is my favorite. A woman with this build is only ever portrayed as the bad guy, if she's seen at all. However, I know several lovely women of the same shape IRL, just as varied as the whole of your series. Beautiful job!

that is an Afghan Hound, one of the oldest dog breeds around! They are big, skinny, hypoallergenic dogs! First breed in cold mountains of Afghanistan.

Hyperlordosis: an exaggerated inward curve of the lumbar spine. It can cause discomfort but not usually pain. Speaking from experience of having this condition.

This looks *exactly* like a judgmental Renaissance painting. I love it!
