Do you ever catch yourself wondering who the people behind various commercial, animated TV show, and service voice-overs are? When you think about it, there are tons of different voices we know so well, yet we have no idea what these people look like or who they are. The more you think about it, the weirder it starts to seem.

Do you know who is behind the famous voice of Apple's Siri? Or who gave their voice to minions from Despicable Me? Bored Panda invites you to scroll down and find out who the people behind some of the most well-known voices from commercials, TV shows, and services are.

In January, 1961, Mel Blanc was in a near-fatal car crash. He was in a coma for two weeks and was unresponsive. About two weeks after the accident, one of Blanc's neurologists tried a different approach than just trying to address Blanc himself: address his characters. Blanc was asked, "How are you feeling today, Bugs Bunny?" After a slight pause, Blanc answered, in a weak voice, "Eh... just fine, Doc. How are you?" The doctor then asked Tweety if he was there, too. "I tawt I taw a puddy tat," was the reply.

There's an adorable video once where Nancy was buying chocolate for a young man and he had no idea that she was the actual voice actress for Bart Simpson.

If you can find it, there is an episode of “Inside the Actors Studio” that was hosted by the late James Lipton, where he had the entire voice actor cast of The Simpson on the show, side by side. It is worthwhile trying to track down, if you can. NBC Universal own the rights and they keep squashing it every time it shows up on YouTube, but you might get lucky.

You can watch Nancy Cartwright's character die, from being eaten by a cartoon, in Twilight Zone: The Movie.

I knew a girl in school who looked almost like her and could do the (english/original) voice, too ... and the german one, too ... she generally was pretty obsessed with the Simpsons, which I found a bit weird, but what isn't weird, usually is no good anyway. She was cool. Hope she still is...

Funnily enough, in the Czech version, Marge is being voiced by a man (and brilliantly). :)

with actors no longer being allowed to act as a different race or sex than they are born, shouldn't Nancy quit so she is not another appropriator?

While other wonderful voice actors have voiced Tigger and Pooh before Jim did, such as Sterling Holloway for Pooh and Paul Winchell for Tigger, he does a fantastic job replicating their voices and brings instant happiness to me whenever I hear him voicing them.

Frank Welker voices tons of cartoon characters. He's the current voice of Scooby Doo ever since Don Messick, the original voice actor for him passed away. He also voices Fred from Scooby Doo.

This is cool. Didn't BP have an article about a woman who's husband passed, but he made a recording for the metro and she would go to hear him? Then they changed the recording, and finding out how much it meant, sent a tape to the widow? That was sweet.

The Progressive Box? Not Cyril from "Archer", Jerry from "Rick and Morty", or even some of his guest characters??
