. Guess the odd one out based on the image: The Hobbit Emma Pride and Prejudice Little Women Jane Austin did NOT write Little Women - however 3 are by female authors and 'the hobbit' is not.

That's why I clicked it, didn't really notice the reason given was incorrect.

Question 14: Shakespeare's work is published in books, depicted in the picture is a book, see also question 2. Question 16: A cricket bat does not look like a baseball bat. Question 18: Little Women is written by Louisa May Alcott not Jane Austen. Question 21: Maybe use a book with poetry instead of prose next time.

Courgette is a fruit in the same way the tomato is, grows from a flower and contains seeds.

Ah, the first problem is in the second question. 'Big Ben' is not a building, and it never has been. It is the bell inside the tower often erroneously called 'Big Ben'. The name of the tower was originally called 'Clock Tower', or 'The Great Clock Tower of Westminster'. In 2012, the tower was renamed to 'Elizabeth Tower'. This was to mark the diamond jubilee of Elizabeth as monarch of the UK.

Question 14 lends itself to several answers: J.K. Rowling is alive, while the other authors are dead; she's female, while the others are male. And so are other questions. Furthermore, "Little Women" wasn't written by Jane Austen...

Considering what an egregious load of codlings these quizzes are normally, BP have outdone themselves.

#2 Big Ben is NOT a building - it's a bell - the tower is the Elizabeth Tower. #10 image does not represent colour very well - Quartz is the only non-precious stone. #23 dark chocolate is not a drink. #24 a courgette is a fruit, in the same way as a tomato is - a banana is the only one that you wouldn't find in a savoury dish like a salad. All in all, a load of rubbish.

They're both both. There's no definition of 'vegetable' beyond "edible bits of plant" so in a very real sense all fruit is also vegetable, it's only really our perception of their uses that causes us to separate them
