Homeowner Leaves Snacks For Amazon Delivery Guy And His Reaction Is Too Pure
The holiday season is upon us and thanks to the mighty internet, our shopping for Christmas has become much easier than it was a decade or two ago. Unfortunately, that also means that the season is quite hectic for those who deliver your goods to your front porch. Luckily, there are people out there who are taking care of these amazing Christmas elves that make our winter celebrations go smooth as butter. One of which is Kathy Ouma – a woman based in Middletown, Delaware – whose recently posted video of an Amazon Prime delivery guy went viral.

Recently, a video of an Amazon delivery guy stumbling upon snacks left out for him went viral

“I leave goodies out every year,” Kathy Ouma, the woman who left out the goodies, wrote on her Facebook page. In the video, you can see the Amazon Prime delivery man walking up to the front door of the house and seeing the goodie box.
Largely due to the little ‘happy dance’ the guy did while walking back to his car

Apparently, the snacks sure did brighten the delivery man’s day. Not only did he seem really happy to have stumbled upon the snacks left out for him, but he also did a little ‘happy dance’ on the walk down to his delivery truck.
The Ouma family that left the goodies on their front porch do it every year

“UPS, USPS, AMAZON, FEDEX – please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thank you for making holiday shopping easy. The Ouma family,” the note left with the snacks read.

I work for one of those delivery companies. Your mail person will tell almost anyone who stands still how much things like this make their day. They really do appreciate it. Also, thank you to anyone who finds the kindness to do this. Happy holidays!
I looooooved this idea so much, that I couldn't resist!! I smiled like a kid on Christmas morning the whole time I was putting it together. WhatsApp-I...1-jpeg.jpg
You didn't just stop at feeling good about someone else's deed, but you put in the effort to do it as well. The world needs more of Tami Bridges.
Load More Replies...this made me tear up! How thankful and happy he is!! I LOVE that! Just give back and always be kind to one another - it's not that hard!
Adorable! When we get really hot weather here (over 110), I put a sign for my postman to knock, and give him a sealed, chilled bottle of water. He appreciates it!
Your postman is probably so sad when you don't get mail.
Load More Replies...I do this every year! The delivery people get a goody bag with chocolate and fruit. The kids and I make them and we hand them to anyone who delivers something in December. During heatwaves in the summer, they always get ice cream. They also know that if we're home, they can use the bathroom in our house.
I liked the fact that the guy didn't take the whole basket and was so happy with what he took. Lovely!
I laughed so much I played it again - DON'T FORGET TO TURN SOUND ON! "Oh! This is so nice!!!"
What a great idea! Awesome person. We need more like her. I can not leave goodies out, we have porch pirates in our Hood. She should leave fruit too.
I hope your pirates get caught soon so everyone else can relax and enjoy the holidays! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Load More Replies...I sometimes tip the postman. My friend's husband is a postman too and she (the friend) once told me that even a small tip (or small snack) can make a postman's day waaaay much better.
I tried this yesterday...the entire box of snacks and drinks was stolen as soon as I left my house. I feel bad for whomever is in such need that they stole 5 waters, 6 granola bars, and 10 small bags of chips. Its cool. I will put more out today in case they need more.
Sorry to hear this at least you tried, unfortunately it's not really safe to do this is bad or busy area's.
Load More Replies...My parents used to leave surprise cards and presents for the mail carrier and the paper route delivery person. The guy who did the route for the local paper was very appreciative one year to get not only a cash bonus, but a tin of my mother's very delicious chocolate chip cookies. He was always nice to my sister's German Shepherd and would wait until my sister let her out in the morning so he could pet her before continuing his route.
So nice to see a careful delivery person (not throwing the package from the street) being appreciated. I'm going to try this.
This s**t is NSFW it's way to f*****g wholesome and needs a warning label
In my neighbourhood they'd just get stolen 30 seconds after leaving them out.
Ex-lax in the chocolate chip cookies will do it!! Add an extra dose too!! That might stop them from stealing your legitimate holiday cheer that’s meant for the delivery people NOT porch pirates.
Load More Replies...I need to do this at our house! Writing myself a note to get snacks this weekend :)
This is heart warming but did he just leave their package outside? ..Is that an American thing? Ive noticed a few videos of Americans chasing down scumbags who nick their packages from outside their house....is it standard for packages to be left on the door step? If so ...wtf!? That just wouldn't happen in England. I kick off if my parcels are left with a neighbour.
Depends on the area/neighbourhood/delivery person. I'm in a condo complex, have been for 17 years. Never a package gone missing (knock on wood). We do have entrance gates, but they're unmanned so there is potential for package nicking. I may just be a lucky one. Again with the knocking on wood.
Load More Replies...Same, man, same! I had to do a double check to make sure that purple rat boi wasn't making me hallucinate
Load More Replies...I just love that this man is expressing his surprise and gratitude in such a vocal way. Not bashful at all to give back joy!
Bit strange to film the delivery man through the peephole, seems a privacy invasion to me
Love this idea and will start doing it myself! But where's the video with the "happy dance?" I want to see it and learn to do it, too! UPDATE: Amazon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1LVW-mxmK0 UPS Driver Very Excited to See Snacks Left by Homeownerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSOlY95tUFI
Yes. And just think that on a regular base they work alone, even to load and unload those huge boxes with furniture and electronics that can easily go over 50lbs, in every weather condition, day and night. Let's be thankful!
We did this! With a cute free poem. Ü http://bit.ly/holidaydeliverytreats ( craftyourhappiness.com) Holiday-De...ef-png.jpg

Love the happy dance! And love how he carefully took only what he could eat and drink while on his route. Thank you, Ouma family and delivery guy! You made my day brighter. 😄😁😆
I've left snacks and gifts for our mail carrier, but this is a great idea for package delivery!
Too bad we don't care as much about the overworked and underpaid Amazon workers that send his packages!
Wow this is.. Just wow. Left me kinda speechless. I think step by step humanity is growing inside us all again. You, ma'am, made a HUUUGE step. And the best thing is, the delivery man didn't even take EVERYTHING. He left a lot of stuff. That's what made me kinda speechless too. Have a nice day everyone and a great Christmas time.
Salute to the man for not taking all the goodies. Most ppl are gonna just take all of it and don't think for the others.
I would love to do this but random people will steal the items so I would rather give to them myself :)
How damn sweet, I'm going to leave something for the garbage guys after seeing this
