There Is A Lake In Finland, That Looks Like Finland
In case you're wondering, because I looked it up immediately when I had learned about it: It's manmade, was made in 1991, is 116 meters long, and a 1:10,000 scale of Finland! The construction engineer was Esko Sääskilahti. It was going to be the Centerpoint of a tourist village, but that part was never completed. The lake took a week to excavate. Conversion therapies were voted as illegal in European Union on 2020 and have been forbidden as illegal in Greece in early 2022 too
I'm in South Africa and I have not heard of any instances of conversion therapy in years. Might not be illegal here, but it certainly is rare
This is an absolute disgrace. Trying to change someone's innate sexuality through talking therapy (or any method frankly) should be criminalised, not merely restricted.

The UK is in the process of banning conversion therapy for gay and bisexual people but this doesn't include for trans people. The UK government have been too busy electing a new PM every 15 minutes this year.

Evryone should have a choise to choos if the wanto have Conversion Terapy or other forms of therepy or treatment. In a free contry thats not a facist, kommunist, tyrannical tictator contry there most be the freedom of my own choise and no one, not you, not the coverment can say you dont have that choise. If you take the posibility awey from me and I cant choose then you are a sadist facist tyrant, if the coverment does this then the contry is no longer a free contry but something else. In a contry like this I would not like to live, I love my freedom. Howabout if I force you to do what I want and you dont have a choise anymore, what wold that make me? And if the coverment says thats okey we make a law that they have to do what you want, what would that make the contry to be?
This is probably not very accurate. A lot of "legal" contries never had any conversion therapy in the first place.

I'd like to point out, that (in my country) while it's legal, it's usually common only in religious circles, and that's why it's so hard to make it illegal. Because, well... It's part of their religion and some are even willing to try it rather than be exiled from their community.
