Turns Out, UPS Drivers Have A Facebook Group About Dogs They Meet On Their Routes, And It Will Make Your Day
In 2013, UPS driver Sean McCarren created a Facebook group to pay tribute to the furry friends that make daily routes a looot happier. And it took off like a pup in the park after you unleash it. Now, UPS Dogs has over 1.4M likes on Facebook and 488K followers on Instagram. However, once you scroll through its feed, it's easy to understand why the project has become so popular. There are alpacas, deer, geese, goats, sheep, chickens and even cats too! Drivers post pictures of the cute critters they've become acquainted with along their schedule, with some of them knowing their clients' dogs for years. It's that wholesome type of content the internet has been created for.

naw. the dog is the 'muscle' and the deer is trying to hold up the UPS driver. This is the wrong way to find out that the muscle you hired is a big fluffy puppy.

Looks like it's down in Florida. The species there looks like a fawn, but is full adult. I didn't know you could keep them, but there's a rule for everything. New York, now, doesn't allow *any* wildlife, except with a special rehabber's permit. I just don't know about Florida.

Those pictures certainly did put a smile on my face. Lovely animals. What rather bothered me though was the one pooch that was carrying a homosexual-inspired flag in its’ mouth. Those anti-nature colors were surely imposed on that poor pooch and, had he known what was forced on him he would surely have bitten the queer. Anyway, thank god that animals recognize race, abide by the laws of nature, and generally do not divert from that god-given instinct.... unlike some stupid humans. All the best,

I like that the baby deer was probably seeing the dog going to the truck every day and thought it wants to join too. The dog was probably "sure! The more the merrier!" while the mother deer is watching from a distance :)
"When you're running into dogs all the time, it creates a bond when you see them every day," McCarren told HuffPost. "It's cool to meet some of the same dogs on the route, because they know who you are and they are excited to see you."
According to him, the appeal of the page is that it's all positive, not negative. "There's no views of what people think about this or that, just dogs and an occasional cat, donkey, turtle or bird."

"This page also shows the relationship we have with the community and the impact we have on other people's families. It also shows how awesome the drivers are," he added.
The company itself admires the page greatly as well.
"It's a good example of the relationships our employees build with their customers, two- or four-legged!" a spokesperson for UPS said.

So far the only vicious dog is the smallest. I am more scared of smaller dogs than bigger dogs.

Sometimes "ewe" don't know who's coming into your truck. This is Elsa. She's a house dog. I dare you to tell her otherwise!!! Her human told me to see if she'd like puppy treats. She did! He was impressed. West Central Minnesota
I have two sheep who think themselves pet dogs and not sheep, they respond to commands like dogs and beg for food (they love banana chips, digestive biscuits and carrots) like dogs!

When you see puppy.. you hold puppy, you cradle puppy, you love on puppy, you get puppy kisses, and last but not least you take picture with puppy! I love what I do. It is by far one of the most hardest and demanding jobs I’ve ever done. However it is also the best job I could ever ask for. As a ups driver I come across a lot of things. Crazy people crazy dogs.. and then I come across some really awesome people and really amazing dogs! But between me and you I’ll always prefer seeing a good ole puppy any day! Louisville Kentucky

Half the time the dogs look like kids at the Ice Cream truck waiting for their turn. I wonder how weird it would be to blast the Entertainer jingle from a UPS truck?
This is cute but it sets me on edge thinking about how close these animals are getting to the vehicle. I hope they backed away safely while the driver drove away and don't get too comfortable with vehicles in general. I had a cat who got run over once so that may be why I feel this way but I think it's valid.
Most of these photos show the dogs greeting the vans in the road- is it normal for dogs to roam freely (since most American homes don't have front walls)?
In rural areas it is. I see it here in the Netherlands too.

I find this odd. My dogs hate the UPS truck - I think its the loud rattling noise it makes. They race it up and down the fence line barking or lunge at it growling when out walking. Same with Fed-Ex. Most of the dogs in the neighborhood are the same.

I love the pets I just saw, however I couldn't help but notice the over representation of one race, on another note, I was happy to see women in the group. Dont know if I am looking at the pictures through an inappropriate filter, but my eyes have come to demand diversity in everything human related.
Not being an American I'm a little confused by the seemingly 'regular' deliveries the UPS people make. Like dog food? Hair care products? Can you not buy this stuff at stores when you do your grocery shopping? Please can someone explain - asking for info.
I have the best ups man, he picked my dog up from town and delivered him home one day! He got out of his invisible fence and wandered to town (about a mile). Always stops to give him a pet when he delivers my packages, because his fence doesn't extend to the front door. Every year at Christmas, the ups man gets a big gift card.

It's a Facebook page, not a Facebook group. There's a difference. Facebook groups can be open to members only and you can get declined if you ask to join. A Facebook page is for everyone on Facebook to see and you can like and follow it, but not join.
