Meet Doniel Kidd, a UPS driver who was recently caught on a hidden camera laying on the ground and taking a selfie with three dogs who came to say ‘hello’. They belong to a customer named Staci Burns from Louisiana. “I’m an animal lover,” Kidd told The Dodo, explaining the video. “If I can pet a dog, and make him feel good, I will.”
The woman behind the camera, who is a long-time client of Kidd says: “He is one of the kindest, most good-hearted (especially towards animals) men I know,” says Burns. And man does the delivery guy know how to take a good dog selfie!
John Danforth, another one of Kidd’s clients, says the love the UPS guy feels for canines is totally mutual. “My dogs know the sound of his truck… When he comes to my place, they perk up and go running towards the road to greet him and bark!”.
Okay, so Kidd is aware that petting dogs is not necessarily written in his contract, but he explains how being on friendly terms with neighborhood dogs means he can do his job better: “There are two dogs I’ve known since they were puppies: Willie and Millie. They don’t allow FedEx to come around. They don’t allow anyone to deliver to the house but me.” That’s a real dog-whisperer!

Share on FacebookI hope he's careful, there are some bad people out there with really effed up dogs... :(
I agree there could be dangerous dogs but he doesn't have to stop
Load More Replies...Gotta love this guy! Dogs rule! Dogs know! And I wish this guy a long healthy and loving life! He'll never want for a true friend!
The dog-whisperer..."accept only UPS....only UPS.... FedEx is baaaad.....got it, Doggo?"
OH YES!!! Our UPS driver has our dogs lined up...they love him and he could walk away with the house they love him so much...he has to come armed with lot biscuits.
The Doberman does not look happy - face is tense, ears are back, he's looking away. At least the driver let him go as soon as he started to move. Afterwards it looks like he yawned (which can be a sign of stress or appeasement). Compare him to the other dogs, who do seem fairly happy and are soliciting attention. Please don't interact more than necessary with strange dogs unless you have permission. Delivery drivers have tough jobs and often end up in dangerous situations with animals, and it's really beneficial to everyone to familiarize themselves with basic animal body language.
Totally agree with you. That dog's body language was a bit off..Maybe he/she didn't the way he was resting his arm on him? It's cute video btw.
