Turns Out, UPS Drivers Have A Facebook Group About Dogs They Meet On Their Routes, And It Will Make Your Day (30 New Pics)
The pandemic has taught us many things, some of them we never asked for in the first place. But as the quarantines, lockdowns and global uncertainties changed the ways we live beyond recognition, we also realized one ages-old thing. Dogs are a man’s best friend (hence the canine adoption boom!) and so are delivery drivers.
In fact, delivery drivers have become somewhat of a last touch we've had with so-called “normalcy.” Thanks to them, we could still enjoy our favorite foods, drink our favorite drinks, dress nice, treat ourselves with gadgets, cosmetics, household items, you name it.
So this post combines two of our favorite things, showing just what a bunch of cute doggies UPS drivers have met on their routes. Enjoy the wholesomeness below and be sure to check out our previous posts with impawsibly cute UPS dogs here, here, and here.

No matter how impawssibly cute the combo of a delivery driver and a happy doggo would be, we cannot entirely omit the fact that some dogs are far from excited to see strangers coming to their home. The weird sounds, the unfamiliar smells, and the face they haven’t seen before may trigger an adverse reaction, if not worse, aggressive behavior.
So we reached out to Dr. Sally J Foote, a DVM and animal behaviorist who conducts low-stress handling veterinary care labs, in-clinic staff training, pet owner seminars, speaking and writing to promote positive veterinary care from “Foote & Friends.”
Dr. Sally explained that “dogs who have not experienced seeing delivery trucks or people before 4 months of age are often wary or fearful of the delivery person, vehicle, and noises involved.” She added that tossing treats to the dog for all aspects of delivery, starting at an early age, will help.
Dr. Sally also explained that “aggression levels vary according to everything that is happening for the dog during the delivery experience, the age and temperament of the dog.” Dogs also tend to be influenced by the behavior of fellow dogs in a particular situation. “If a dog has a companion dog barking, jumping and aggressing it will shape the behavior of the other dog. If the dog cannot get away from the delivery person (loose in a yard, or at the front door) they will show aggression to keep the delivery person away,” the animal behaviorist explained.
Moreover, specific breeds may be indeed more prone to agitation towards delivery workers than others. Dr. Sally said that breeds that are selected for herding or guarding traits need lots of extra training to decrease delivery agitation.

I'm a cat person, really, but I'd gladly take this little one to add to the pride. :D
Poodle breed was created by the Germans as hunting dogs. The fur was there to keep the dog warm, but theywould add grease to make it more waterproofed. The French created the silly show cut. Very, very intelligent breed. In the top five. And excellent guard dogs, more likely to bite than other breeds.
Love English bulldogs. Such a shame that they can't breathe properly. It's why I'd never have one, I'd feel like I was encouraging the inbreeding. Best doge I ever had was a bulldog X corgi. Funny looking, but the best of both. Rip Bonzo 😢

Just goes to prove all dogs are loving dogs. It's the owners that make them mean.
There was a dog in my neighborhood, a golden retriever named Sport. Sport lived on a small lake, and would wait outside his house every day for the mail carrier. When he saw the mail truck, he'd walk to the curb and climb in, have a seat and look at the spot where his treats were kept, and help himself. He'd ride around the lake, helping with the mail, until he reached his house again, where he'd pause for a last treat and kiss, and dismount. When Sport passed, the entire neighborhood was inconsolable.

Being a driver for UPS, FedEx, etc can be an incredibly stressful job—-especially during the Christmas season. What is so striking about these pictures is just how big the grins and smiles on the drivers’ faces are. Like all the s**t they have to take—-from customers and management alike—-simply vanishes when the dogs come up to the truck to say “Hi!”. Kinda makes it worth it, know what I mean?
My dad was a milkman (ask grandma) he always carried treats for the critters on his route he had one pup who started bringing his dish, dad would put treats in it, critter would dump them out well maybe a little milk nope dumped it too-well the only other thing I got is chocolate milk - dad would give him a wee bit - that's what he wanted and off he would trot. He thought tat could not be good for the dog every day so he stated taking sliced beef for all of them he became very popular!
