We have all found our own ways to cope with the pandemic that never seems to end. But some things are universal. So to keep your spirits up and balance out all the negativity, we at Bored Panda continue our most positive series.
Below, you will find a collection of wholesome pictures that show there is good left in the world after all. We're talking Nepalese climbers removing trash from Mount Everest to firefighters saving animals; this list has everything it needs to soothe your heart. At least for a little while.

Don't Really Have Anyone To Celebrate With, So I Thought I'd Share With You Guys. I’m One Year Sober
That's quite the accomplishment! That first year is hell but so worth it. I'm 15 years sober now and wouldn't trade it for anything. Keep up the great work. I, like many others, are very, very proud of you!
I celebrated my year on June 6. Best gift I ever gave myself. Congrats!! Peace and Love.
Congrats, going sober is never easy. Don't worry we are celebrating with you. ♡
I know how you feel. Despite knowing I am loved, it seems that the majority of my adulthood milestones and achievements have been celebrated alone or without the support of friends and family. I think that it has led me to better appreciate the concept of a higher power and the knowledge that each day I'm given the strength to not give in to the horrible chronic physical pain and corresponding mental anguish and depression is a WIN quietly celebrated with that power,
I was a flaming alcoholic. That's what I called it. I wished I could have recognized that in myself. Instead I denied it and told everyone that they didn't know what they were talking about. Then I'd go home and get drunk. Smashed. Obliterated. I even got demoted in the USAF and still denied, or couldn't recognize, that I was an alcoholic. It takes a very BRAVE person to identify it in oneself, and then deal with it. I drank my entire youth away (and continued until around 45) and now it's the biggest regret of my life.
You're not alone. I was a raging alcoholic. So much damage. I was the last one to know. Everyone kept telling me, arresting me, kicking me out, firing me. Shits good now. My worst days sober are far better than any day drunk, delusional, depressing. Did have some fun, and fun stories. I don't want to die in a gutter.
Load More Replies...It made me sad to hear that you don't have anyone to celebrate with. I don't know whether this person is a future romantic partner, a friend, or an animal, but someone out there is perfect for you, and needs you, and with a bit of perseverance and a dose of luck, you will find them. Good luck, and congratulations.
Congratulations on your sobriety!!!!! I hope you many more years of being sober.
Congratulations!! 365 one day at a times. A great commitment and gift to yourself, your life and everyone who loves you.
365 days of strength, determination, and bravery to build a better life. I don't know you, but I am so thrilled and proud that you are doing what you need to do to take care of yourself. 💙

Wow!! Having witnessed a family member working through their own recovery I can appreciate the hard work and self love it takes to get sober. And you did it during a freaking pandemic. Whoa!! You are worthy. FABULOUS!! Congratulations. Much love here.
Congratulation! This must require so much willpower and discipline. Have confidence that blessings will add up in your life with consistent effort!
Well done you should be proud, I've got a friend going through some alcohol stuff.....again.....it's tough once it has it's claws into you, I'm trying to help him as much as I can but I can't babysit him or be there all the time, it's sad and it makes me want to shout at him and slap him, but I know that will make it worse.
Congrats !! but.......you deserve a bigger cake, even if it's just for you. You've earned it
Great, hold on to it. You can do it, just be so proud of yourself.👏🥰
I raise a glass of 7up to you tonight! You did a difficult thing and you did it well..

I Just Moved Into My First Very Own Place And Am Living 100% Independently
When you finish going through the pictures, there are more things you can do to make your day a little brighter. Sarah Helen King, psychologist and founder of Invigorise, told Bored Panda that practicing gratitude can do wonders for us.
"Keep a gratitude diary near you and each day just spend a few minutes thinking about one thing you are grateful for, and write it down," Sarah suggested. "Then, whenever you are having a bad day, whip it out and read it. Instant mood enhancer."
For Those Who Step Up
My parents split when I was in first grade. My mom met my step-dad, mark, when I was in second grade. We moved in with him by the time I was in 3rd we moved in to his house. He treated my siblings and I as his own since day 1. He even would watch Gilmore Girls with me and my sister every afternoon. After my mom died when I was 16, Mark didn’t make us go live with our biological dad. He continued raising us as his own. He started out as my mom’s boyfriend and became my dad, my best friend, my go-to for advice.
Mark ended up working 3 jobs while having heart failure, asthma, and diabetes. He did everything he could to provide for my sister and I. He passed away 6 days before I graduated college in 2016. It’s been a few years but I still have trouble on Father’s Day. He could have ditched us when our mom died and we didn’t have enough income. But he didn’t. He was there fighting to put food on the table. Happy Father’s Day for all of the fathers who fight for their children.
Thank Goodness For Common Sense. I Wish It Was Free
No Matter How Hard It Is, You Have To Try To Push Through
But when it comes to news, the psychologist believes the only way to stop it from bothering us is to simply not watch it. "This has been hugely effective for many of my clients in minimizing anxiety in their day-to-day lives," she explained.
"As an alternative suggestion though, give yourself a daily time (e.g 6 pm) and limit (10 minutes) where you will catch up with the day's events. If you are prone to anxiety, steer clear of clicking on headlines that you know will be a trigger for you, and then after do something you enjoy, like go for a walk in nature or phone a friend for a catch-up and steer the conversation to something positive that happened in the day."
Another good alternative is The Happy Broadcast by Mauro Gatti, an illustration project that showcases some of the most positive news from around the world.

I wasn't feeling down, but now i'm crying. Step dad story was my lowest point.
Yea, but not forgetting about him is making him alive again. Remembrance is beautiful. We celebrate how good of a man and dad he was, not that he is gone! :)
