“Unusual Looking” Puppy Adopted By Family Who Didn’t Care About Her Scars
Disfigured animals usually have a harder time getting adopted from shelters, but this dog got “lucky.” Lisa the 10-week-old puppy was brought to the Humane Society Of Silicon Valley with scars all over her face and inflamed eyelids that required surgery. The shelter staff weren’t sure they could find a home for the pup, until Christine Doblar and her family walked in.
“My girls were freaking out the whole time that somebody else was going to take her,” Doblar told The Dodo. “She’s pretty funky looking [but she] has a wonderful, sparkling personality. The fact that she was going to each of us, and just as loving and exuberant with everyone she greeted … we looked at a few more dogs but nobody could compare to that.” The family went back the same day and adopted Lisa, who they renamed “Lucky.”

How could anyone not love that little face.. So happy to hear Lucky will have a loving family and a forever home.
She isn't ugly at all I think she is adorable. I would adopt her in a heart beat. This pup doesn't look like it has scars on it's face. I think it's just part Chinese Crested or has a birth defect.
I have to say, I looked at this little dog and I didn't see what her problem was, I just saw a beautiful little one who needed to be loved xx
I've always adopted disfigured animals. When I was a kid, I adopted this small kitten that had only half his nose left. No one in my family really liked him when they first saw him but as time went by he was loved by everyone as he was the cuttest cat ever. Unfortunately, he passed away a couple of years ago and I still miss him.
Isn't this what we all want? To accepted for who we are? LOVE this family! and LOVE this cutie-pa-tutie puppy!!!
Lucky is cute just like adog toy. You are heros to adopt her.

Beautiful name, the poor thing put into an animal shelter just 4 Her looks. God bless You 4 wanting Her Oh, A Chinese Crested Dog also has a Hare's foot , not the normal dog feet as the rest :)
