50 Times The Universe Decided To Troll One Person Specifically And It Resulted In These Funny Pics
Some days it just feels like the whole world is against you… With car keys left in a vest you just handed to the dry cleaners and your little daredevil shooting their entire breakfast content right on your brand new shirt like an Olympic discus throw champion, you could easily press “skip” and restart the day tomorrow.
But what if I tell you that this is not just a feeling? Sometimes, the universe plays an evil game with us by targeting one person and making it rain all over their head. In fact, there’s a whole corner of Reddit, “Eff You In Particular,” dedicated to precisely such instances.
The community describes itself as “the home of photos, GIFs, and videos of people/things taking comical injuries/beatings/general physical discomfort, while being singled out,” and it really feels all too relatable.
So scroll down through this painfully funny “been there and done that” collection of pics that make you wonder what are the chances... Proving the chances are pretty darn high.

We all have days in our life when the going gets a bit tough. One problem or mishap comes after another, making it feel like the whole world has turned its back against you. All jokes aside, this state of being can be truly detrimental; anxiety creeps in, leaving you sleep-deprived and exhausted. It’s only fair to blame it on bad luck, but is it really a matter of luck we’re talking about in such a case?
We reached out to Dr. Lise Deguire, a clinical psychologist and author of the multi-award-winning book “Flashback Girl: Lessons on Resilience From a Burn Survivor,” to find out about navigating the miserable times. “There are days, weeks, months and even years when it seems like everything possible goes wrong,” Lise said and added that in her practice, her clients experience this, “and we wind up joking that they are like Job, from the Old Testament.”
I don't inflict or push my views on people. I detest the smell of meat cooking, but would shut window or go out. Despite being absolutely adament about my views, I do not have the right to force them onto others X
Lise continued: “Sometimes life is like that, but there are ways to cope. Maintaining a sense of humor is key, as well as maintaining a sense of perspective. Even many truly unfortunate people still have blessings in their lives. When we are miserable, we tend to focus repetitively on what has gone wrong.”
The clinical psychologist explained that “it will improve your mood to turn your attention to what you do have. Also, remember that life goes on. You won't always be unfortunate; it's a phase.”
Still a better use of the money than the Musk/Bezos space-d**k-measuring.
"We hate England more than you!".... How to teach the world to sing :-) (chant)
Load More Replies...what did we do? I dunno, maybe invade, colonise or oppress about 170 countries ? (https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/13019/there-are-only-22-countries-world-british-haven%E2%80%99t-invaded)
Imagine how far behind our current technology we would be had that not happened though. There would have been no industrial revolution, at least certainly not as soon, which would have meant the delay or non existence of the fastest period of technological advancement in human history. Also, if we Brits had not done it (Scotland and Wales were a big part of building the BRITISH not English empire), someone else would have. Would you rather all be speaking French, Spanish, German, Dutch or Italian? Even the Swede's and Danes had empires. People really need to stop judging what happened 200 years ago by today's overly sensitive standards. Be thankful for what our ancestors achieved because the benefits far outweigh the negatives.
Load More Replies...Didn't the English keep trying to invade Scotland and banned their dress, music and language at one time?
Also the IRish, Welsh.... Yeah, the English have a long history of assuming they're correct and all else is incorrect, and must be corrected, possibly by force, if not preferably by force.
Load More Replies...OMG, I almost never literally laugh out loud at work but this one did it. I suppose we Americans will now just blame our behavior on our 'parents.'
This is funny and all, but how is it "eff you in particular"? I guess they mean England but it really doesn't fit with the theme of everything else in this thread. EDIT: I got further down the thread and I guess there's a lot of dumping on specific countries or regions. Still seems off-topic to me, but I guess that's not the consensus.
I pondered the same point - it didn't seem to be 'trolling unlucky people'. Though, hey ho... 🤷
Load More Replies...Most people don't realize you have to read the bottom paragraph first, then the rest in ascending order. That's called a meta reversal. See the names in order at the top? By reversing the conversation it means something completely different.
Oh my... This is hilarious. (Although I think it is all a joke, because I've never heard of Germany hating England before)
I kind of think when it comes to football, Germany and England maintain a lot of banter. So in the context of football chanting, i can see this happening.
Load More Replies...Yes England, you brought this upon yourself. We know how it feels. XOXO Germany
Well I mean it makes sense, Britain has been at war with or invaded 173/195 countries on the planet actually....194 Britain is also a country.
Do you know that really pees me off. I'm beginning to regret all the hours and hours I'm spending on Duolingo learning German.
How different we (the U.S.) would be if the viking and Scottish colonies succeeded and thrived.
What did England do? Treated Irish and Scottish people like the USA treated Indians and Black people. Any other questions.
The English tend to be Uppity and have tried to dominate other countries for centuries "just because". Ireland and India have the best reasons for hating the monarchy.
My mum's Glaswegian, I was in the car with her literally yesterday when we encountered an idiot blocking the road, after waiting she eventually got out and politely asked him to let people past. She eventually came back to the car ranting about the entitled bloody English!... I'm English (but apparently don't count).
I mean, I have British/English citizenship living in England most my life, and I sometimes hate England. There's some beautiful places and history though.
England is the black sheep of Europe... we both love them(don't tell), blame them and mock them
Try reading the paragraphs from the bottom up.
Load More Replies...I'd like to take this moment to point out that so many of the things that the US is hated for in HISTORY (not present) were also really the English . . .
Maybe funny but it is totally untrue, unless Scotland was playing England, then it may have happened. Sorry can not say about Germany but it would be a terrible shame if all they can think about at a football match is how they can feel superior and proud of what they did to Europe
no the cat was the one who scared him into submission, it hissed and everything
When asked about the luck factor, Lise said that it can certainly seem that some people are much unluckier than others. “Life can be random, and tragedies can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Still, we can make choices to improve our "luck." Choosing supportive friends, making time for the people we love, saving extra money for the future, eating healthy foods... all these are examples of ways we can improve our lives.”
According to her, in the long run, “it can seem like we are ‘lucky to have good relationships, savings and good health, but probably we did little things to help us attain these blessings.”

We previously spoke with Lynn How, the author of “Positive Young Minds” who specializes in supporting parents, teachers, and children navigating through mental health issues to find out how to find your way out of such miserable periods. “We’ve all been in those situations where we have a run of seemingly bad luck when we question what on earth we have done to deserve this?” So it’s not only me or you, the world going against you is a universal feeling.
However, when you are in the grips of misery, it may be really hard to see your way out of it. Only after things calm down are you able to reflect and realize that it wasn’t the end of the world. “With situations like these, the phrase, ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ does hold some weight, there are lessons to be learnt about yourself from a bad situation and you need the shadow to appreciate the light,” Lynn said.
For $5, this shelter will write the names of people you hate in the litter box
Essentially, surviving these dark moments and periods makes us a stronger version of ourselves as we build resilience. “Often you don’t appreciate these lessons when you are in the thick of it and it is only in hindsight that you can spot them. You may notice yourself emerge as a stronger person. It is useful to remember this to help get you through and also that any situation is temporary.”
First of, wherever things feel like they're slipping out of your hands, you gotta let them go. Calming down is key, and so is the realization not everything’s in your control. Tell that to your inner perfectionist!
Secondly, when you feel miserable, you really want to become your best friend. We tend to lose faith in our capabilities when we are faced with challenges. We also tend to put the blame on and even hate ourselves in crisis for being weak and not in control. Such behavior makes things much worse and we slowly turn into our own most brutal enemies.
Yep. When I was dating a lot, I used to put the guy's first name in my phone, followed by the name of the pub in which I met them...

And thirdly, when feeling down, you may want to surround yourself with positivity. As cliche as it sounds, little things do wonders, like connecting with good old friends or doing activities that you like. People’s positivity will surely reflect onto you, and it’s a timeless way to make yourself feel better.
I wonder how crowded it usually is in the summer at that little break in the border.

Last week I lost fifty quid on the same day I also broke my tooth. Yeah bad luck is just my life.
Notice how they are taking the joke and not whining about it?
Load More Replies...So many of these are just bullying, nothing to do with universe or bad luck, just shitty people.
When it comes to bad timing, I think of the leader of this band: “Boys, we have it made! We’re playing the maiden voyage of The Titanic. We’re set for life!”
Gloom, despair, and agony on me. Deep dark depression, excessive misery. If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. Gloom, despair, and agony on me....
