Comedy is one of those few things that seems like it will never hit the bottom of the barrel. As long as the world continues to spin, people will continue to come up with ways to keep everyone entertained through laughter.

Take Greg Larsen, for instance. The award-winning actor, writer, director, and comedian went to Twitter asking people to share names of those who are universally agreed to be evil. You know, people like genocidal dictators, serial killers, and just plain baddies, whether real or fictional.

This way, he challenged himself to defend them and their actions using “conservative logic.” And the internet delivered, bringing in nearly 80,000 likes and over 18,000 retweets, suggesting some of the seemingly most undefendable people (and non-humans) in history.

Bored Panda invites you to read through some of Greg’s best attempts at defending these baddies to the best of his “conservative” ability. And while you’re down there, why not vote and comment on the ones you enjoyed the most!

More Info: Twitter

Greg Larsen is an award-winning actor, writer, director, comedian and podcaster from Melbourne, Australia. He’s best known for his work in The Grub Podcast, At Home Alone Together, Get Krack!n, and Tonightly with Tom Ballard.

Back in August of 2020, Greg went to Twitter with a bit of a wild idea—he asked his followers to name the absolute most evil people on the planet—people like genocidal dictators, serial killers, and the like.

The internet was keen to respond immediately after this tweet went live. Now, many were posting actual historical figures, like Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, and Kim Jong Un, but others spiced it up, suggesting more than just politicians and infamous people in history.

The list quickly grew with the likes of Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones, Immortan Joe from Mad Max, Bowser from the Mario universe, The Borg from Star Trek, and many more.

Yet others took a more comic approach and suggested defending the likes of Mr. Burns from The Simpsons, Wile E. Coyote from Road Runner, and Ursula from The Little Mermaid. There was even one person who put up a picture of Vegemite iSnack 2.0 and asked to defend the marketing guy who invented it.

This perfectly illustrates the insane hurdles Conservative brains jump through to land at such mind-bogglingly wrong conclusions. Hats off to this man for making it so convincing that the Bored Panda commenters forgot what satire is & think he's being serious.

I know, right?! He should try and satire incidents of mass rape. Something like Japanese comfort women. Or maybe even child molestation! Hilarious

And note also that without A.Hitler, Winston Churchill would have been remembered only for the disaster of the Dardanelles... And as a French humorist said once, De Gaulle owes everything to him also.

It’s so gross how everyone was cool with all the other stuff but this one gets everyone to leave dumb responses like “uh no too far.” Just very revealing.

This actually sounds really similar to a lot of bad stuff going on in Germany. Not in every word but the general canon. Even though this one here is bad to joke about and nothing but sarcasm

2 reasons why this is wrong 1.) hitler became a dictator before communism even started to gain popularity. 2.) the concentration camps did not pay the jews, so it was forced and unpaid labour

I've said it before & I’ll say it again: Nothing is beyond being joked about, so long as it is handled correctly. This was handled exceptionally well. It's satire being utilized to draw attention to the dangerous people around us in 2021. He is not poking fun at victims or marginalized groups, he's mocking Nazis & conservatives for being hateful & ignorant. Your great aunt is not the butt of the joke, the ignorance of conservatives & Nazis is. Even if you don't find it particularly humorous, you should at least support what he's doing. He isn't trying to make light-hearted quips. He's making dark jokes in order to illustrate how flawed & downright dangerous conservative logic is.

It's not Karen logic is ahole logic. Left and right both claim 'Karens' as the opposite of them... Karens are sjw antifas to the right and racist white privilege bigots to the left. That's why the term is just stupid

It is indeed the planets fault for not being careful where to float, just like an automobile not looking at the road and crashing into a motorcycle.
