Pet Bed
I can spend thousands of dollars on a bed like this for my cats, and I bet they will still prefer the box that will come in.

To people complaining about a "waste" of a tree - you surely don't mind the WOODEN FLOOR, do you?
Cool Bedroom
Looks amazing but if this is not properly insulated or have an AC somewhere this room is everything but cool in the summer :D
Probably double paned vinyl windows. Shatter proof and able to hold in heat on cold days while keeping out the heat on hot days.
Load More Replies...It looks like the roof is corrugated metal sheeting: if it i rains or, god forbid, hails, it is going to be really noisy in that room.
Yeah, but rain on a tin roof puts me right to sleeep
Load More Replies...The room is beautiful, but the window for me would make it feel like everyone could see me, even thought that's not true.
You know, they might've installed that glass where you can see out but no one can see in. That would be smart, especially if there's a building next door with windows facing yours. I personally don't want to know that much about my neighbors, and vice-versa, if you get my drift.
Load More Replies...looks straight out of a sci-fi doomsday movie.. next scene, aliens invading..
It's all fun and games until you chillin' in bed and the Avengers crash through it while fightin' Ultron again.
I would rather this be in the woods and I could see trees in the morning not buildings. Just sayin'.
I love how minimalistic this is! So beautiful, could imagine someone in New York living here. My only issue is that it might get really hot in the summer and use a lot of energy to cool it down. Oh, and also privacy, with the gigantic windows! But all in all this is a really beautiful space.
I started freaking out because I was like WHAT IF I'M CHANGING, THERE'S NO PRIVACY but then I saw the shades and it's all good... phew
We just put in a Velux "Cabrio" balcony window. They' make the most of sloping attic walls. It was twice as expensive as a simple skylight, but a quarter the cost of a dormer.
They won’t be spied on, the room is the top floor of a tall building
Load More Replies...How do you hang curtains in that window...? :0c Or you just can't never have a dark room?
Tall buildings don't have windows that open like that anymore. Suicide proof. Plus, I'm not all that sure you want your windows open like that in a large city.

Two small children on a massive swinging bed right next to a rail-less porch and a 20' drop. Perfect equation for a disaster to happen.

I find a many of these impractical. They would pretty much only suit as decoration and wasted space than be of any use. Whilst the design and creativity is great and of course a lot of effort went into these. I just find they are more suited for an art gallery than someone’s home.
I enjoyed these. A lot, okay most, of them were impractical for everyday use but that probably wasn't the purpose. It was good showcase for the designers imagination.
Would it be easier to just go to Pinterest? They are all from there and with correct links to original places...
It used to be but now ever 5th image on my feed is an ad which is why I just deleted my account. Advertising may be necessary but every 5th pin???
Load More Replies...Moral of the thread: CGI renders are pretty, but interior design is impractical and ultimately results in just useless art ;)
As fun design challenges, there are some neat ideas here, as actual living furniture/space? Very few would realistically work.
So many yummy chew toys for my dog to wreck. This is why I can't have nice things.
Some of these actually make sense but some are just, sorry to say it, stupid. My fave was the Sibling room. The dumbest 2, I think, are the Outdoor bathtub and the Bluetooth table speaker. I would rather buy a $10 plug-in-to-my-phone-speaker than a how-ever-much-that-was table thing! Plus, I'm preeeeety sure it's not waterproof.
Can not believe all the negative comments.....Again it makes me glad my family looks for the good, You do decide how to face life's bumps. Each artist exposed their idea to you, & you responded how?
Imagine you drunk as hell and trying to walk through any of these rooms/up the staircases.
Love some of these designs, but...... I guess If you have lots of money, you will actually be able to afford some of these nice things ;-)
Such negativity in the comments! I find them all quite beautiful in their own ways. I love getting on the housing apps and looking at the designs people have done with their homes. Anything unusual is a plus for me.
