Some people are impossible to impress. Imagine a person who looks at a 5,000-year-old monument and downplays it as a pile of rocks. Or someone who goes to a castle that was originally built in 1068 and calls it a 'Disneyland wannabe'.
They shouldn't be allowed to visit the United Kingdom. But they're not only traveling to the country, they're trashing it public on Tripadvisor, leaving one-star reviews to some of the world's top attractions.
I just hope they're doing it as a joke, otherwise we have to call the Queen and tell her she needs to sign a few deportation papers ASAP!

this museum is amazing!! easy to reach, no entrance fee and really great paintings! it is a must visit for me every time i am in London

I have a story on disappointment to add about this place: I visited these baths with my family a few years ago and for some reason (looking back I don't understand how this came to be) we we're under the impression that this was a place where you could have an original Roman bath experience - including actually bathing. So we packed towels and swimsuits and everything. For me, the truth started to sink in when I saw the "Guide dogs allowed" sign, for my parents it was much, much later. Once we had realised our mistake, we we're terrified that someone would look into our bags and start asking questions. Today it's one of our favourite holiday memories 😅
Maybe it's more for people who remember the Roman occupation of Britain. (Joke intended.)
Been to Rome a few times and I'll say most of it has turned into huge money grabs from tourist. Tour guides charge over $50 per person for a 2 hour walk around an attraction. The best way to enjoy Rome is to learn about it's history and then go. I remember the first time I went I was telling my family about the Column of Trajan and how to read it and what it was all about. Within 5 minutes I had people standing around me listening. To me it's more fun knowing about the history and then seeing it in person.
I took the tour years ago. When my group was down next to the pool pictured above the girl behind me said, "Thaaaaat can't be sanitary. I think I got the Plague just by looking at it."
She likely was not wrong. Back in the day, hopefully, there was flowing water. Does anyone know how or if the baths were kept clean?

Wow. History and heritage are ALWAYS for the future generations, especially young adults, who have so much to learn from the past in order to build a better future.
How dare you?! This place is an amazing museum! I grew up in that area. Bath residents could get in for free so I used to regularly go in with my friend to eat a packed lunch by the main pool (the one you can see in the pic). Not sure you'd still be able to do that now though, even pre-covid.

The water does look filthy, like a swimming pool gone for years without care. The architecture is stunning though - I can tell there is alot to see here. Do yourself a favor and read about the history of the area and sites before you go it will be so much more interesting.

Is this the one in Bath, England. I found it very well done in telling the story of the Roman occupation of GB.

I love Warwick Castle, it’s a beautiful building and they show you how it was used with displays and mannequins as well as live performances, but the added costs on top of an expensive ticket are ridiculous.

Honestly speaking, I've never travelled outside my country,barely visited another state.I would trade my soul for a trip to the mountains and learn about a different culture.We work hard all our lives,prioritise so much over our own desires and then realise there are people who have the privilege to do as they wish yet they don't understand the experience of it .I so wish I get a scholarship to study abroad .No offence to the people,I understand some of them tried their hand at humour but gosh,I wish I could do more than just travel world through Google maps views.*Sigh
The most boring place I ever visited was the Sydney Opera House, mind you I was only 9 but even now I would find the tour boring.
