Trees have been around for about 370 million years, and as you can from these incredible pictures, there's a good reason why they've survived for so long. Whether they're growing in the middle of gale-force winds, on the tops of rocky platforms, inside concrete tunnels, or even growing out of each other, these beautiful trees know how to survive in places where no other life finds a way. Which explains why the planet is host to around 3 trillion adult trees that cover an estimated 30% of the earth's land. Considering that plants produce the vast majority of the oxygen that we breathe, we should all think ourselves very fortunate that these cool trees are as resilient as they are. We wouldn't even be here if they weren't.

The Crooked Forest (Polish: Krzywy Las), is a grove of oddly-shaped pine trees located outside Nowe Czarnowo, West Pomerania, Poland. Each pine tree bends sharply to the North just above ground level, then curves back upright after a sideways excursion of three to nine feet (1–3 m). It is generally believed that some form of human tool or technique was used to make the trees grow this way, but the method and motive are not currently known. I have a eucalyptus that grew to 18ft before being felled by strong wind ripping its roots out of the ground. Instead of dying the trunk started sprouting roots along it's length and the side branches started growing upright... now it is taller (and far wider) then it was before it fell.

If the world is as old as you say, wouldn't we be able to find at least one tree older than 6,000 years? As President Donald Trump refused to sign the Paris agreement on the Climate change (because of CO2 is accumulated), then he must support the forest industry to absorb more CO2 from athmosphere and produce more woods for the furniture. Also, our cities needs more gardens around, to protect homes against gale and tornado and supply more fruits for consumers.
That's why I smirk behind the backs of the wood cutters in my neighborhood, who were given the order to chop down most of our beautiful poplars(the municipality planted them some 25 years ago but now they decided that it was a stupid idea, so of course the trees get it). Honestly, do you think you can go into a combat with nature and win? Do you think you can fight with your own creator? Trees would win, the Earth would survive and we, the arrogant homo sapienses would lose and die out(a species live for approximately 5 million years). Those trees know it and they proved it to us!
I'm not that faithful. Nature, sadly, is fragile. It would be a total desaster if we really managed to kill this planet. I don't even want to think about it. Let's just become vegetarians.
