Fourthly, where did you get that idea about naturalistic fallacy? Usually the naturalistic fallacy (or is-ought problem) is described as the wrong assumption that something is 'good' or ethical because it is 'natural', and 'bad' or unethical because it is 'unnatural'. Many counterexamples exist to show that this is a fallacy (e.g., good unnatural stuff: vaccines, lightbulbs, sofas).

I wasn't talking about clownfish in my comment about impersonation; there are species that do exactly as I described, possibly some sturgeon but I'd have to look it up. It is straightforward impersonation of females by adolescent and smaller males to get access to females without alerting dominant males to their presence and risk fighting and injury.

Firstly let me say being trans is not an ideology, unlike being gender critical which is an ideology (a belief), secondly after a period of 2 years on estrogen the trans womans biological features, ie. cellulare level does change and is more in line with a cis woman, this includes hormonal structures as well as external features, whilst a trans man on testosterone for 2 or more years starts to develope a prostate gland. So your argument that humans cannot change séx is scientifically flawed. But then this is degree level biology not basic biology which is taught in schools.

Yes you did, when you talked about medically transitioning from male to female. Male and female are séxes and it is impossible to medically (or otherwise) transition from one to the other. At best one can modify the body to resemble that of the séx matching one's self-image. I make no apologies for speaking so bluntly because the consequences of people making life-changing decisions from being misled by the imprecise language around gender and gender identity can be catastrophic and irreversibly so. It is therefore vitally important that people are told exactly what is and isn't possible, and that information is NOT coming from those within the trans movement who are deliberately vague on the facts behind the rhetoric.

The proper term for surgically and hormonally transitioning is medically transitioning. Using medical things such as hormones and surgery, hence, "medical". And I assure you, it is not simple to make the decision to medically transition. You are much more likely to regret a tattoo, plastic surgery, or having a child, than to regret transitioning. On the other hand, transgender people who do NOT get the care they need are at extremely high risks of s*****e.

Yes, I know what the 'proper' term is and it's misleading, suggesting very strongly that the modifications are genuine cross-séx transitions. The high suícide risk claim is at best contentious, at worse an outright lie. Are you aware that speakers at a WPATH convention were telling delegates to play up the idea of suícide when counselling kids, because parents are more likely to allow kids to begin on the 'transition' route if they thought their kids were suícidal? And the other study you linked to in the hidden comment - the Amsterdam one - was specifically mentioned in the Cass Report because what it fails to mention when talking about low regret is that there was very little long-term follow up once surgeries were complete. It is easy to report that few people had regrets when they're not following up with the patients beyond a year or two post-surgeries so rely on self-reporting from those patients. There was, and still is, a dearth of long-term studies following outcomes beyond the initial 'euphoric' post-surgery stage, generally lasting a couple of years. Again, you are only being given half the story.
