Man Uses Toilet Paper And Tissues To Create Wedding Dresses For His Barbies, And Result Is Amazing
From what we know on Instagram, this Jian Yang is already the largest male collector of Barbie dolls in the world.
But here's something you don't know - he travels with a doll and uses hotel toilet paper, tissues and tape to make these couture confections in his hotel room.

It looks like a fishtail braid. I'm going to try this now.
This is very similar to my daughters Mermaid wedding dress, Barbie isn't curvy enough for this style.
Seriously I think that barbies aren't just for little girls, they can be a form of art.
I love how he does the hair too, that would take me for-freaking-ever!
Whoever he is, his talents are wasted on paper... needs to upgrade to the real stuff- brilliant
I keep thinking about like the Kentucky Derby....it's the hat that's what is doin it
Jian Yang needs to quit working in toilet paper and move on to linens, silks, and other textiles! WOW!
I'd like to see her try and walk in this, very wow at the bottom!
That's the kind of wedding dress I want to wear. Now I just have to find the guy <3
These dresses are stunning! I still struggle with making a boat or hat out of paper 😮
OMG I love this one because it is Indian and I am Indian! We don’t have bouquets though, at least not in North India.
It's not there even in south India... But honestly I wasn't expecting a saree in this post! I'm happy that the person decided to make this!
Load More Replies...I used to have an older Barbie like her. She was my Grandma's and I was given the task of caring for her. I think my daughter has her tucked away safely now. What a beauty!
I had one of the original Barbie's. The one that looks like Lucille Ball. Wish i still had her. She would be worth a fortune
Load More Replies...The bag says Park Hyatt Bangkok and I think the little papers say the same thing
Load More Replies...First one that doesn't look genuinely wearable (scaled up, of course). Three steps forward...faceplant. Beautiful though!
Yes it is! I made this in the Park Hyatt in Bangkok
Load More Replies...Got married yesterday, wearing a dress based on this particular picture! <3
It’s to commemorate the hotel I was at. In Bangkok.
Load More Replies...Some of my Barbies has joints (grew up 1990s England). Ones that come to mind were a gymnastic Barbie (presumably so you could pose her), and one that rode a bike (may have been her younger sister Stacy) - the flexible joints allowed her to actually "pedal" the bike when you pushed her along on it.
Load More Replies...They don't - someone has removed the eye paint and redone it. Very classy.
Load More Replies...I used to make dresses out of tissues for my barbies when I was a kid. Granted, I wasn't as talented, but it was a lot of fun !
Me too! I used to also make skin tight dresses and skirts out of small water balloons. God, I miss being a child in the 80s.
Load More Replies...These are all so cool. Just look at how much detail there is in each one! And to think they're made out of tissue paper.. Great Job! :D
Check out my new post. He also does it with paper!
Load More Replies...When I was 9 we did this with much less skill. love the flash back to the day!
He has quite an imagination. I have 3 Barbie's, and he has inspired me to try this. IMG_201804...970098.jpg
