Huggies Just Launched The Tiniest Diapers Ever For Preemie Babies
Most parents don’t find buying diapers a difficult task. However, parents with little preemies that were born earlier have been having some difficulties finding a diaper that will both fit and not affect the preemie’s delicate skin – but not anymore.
By working closely with NICU nurses, Huggies has launched the Little Snugglers Nano Preemie Diapers. The diapers are designed for babies that weigh under 2 pounds (900 grams) and are specially designed to protect the babies’ developing skin. Although only 1.4% of newborns belong to this demographic, Huggies wanted to make sure they were not forgotten about, even if they didn’t bring a big piece of market share.

Share on FacebookFinally :) I had issue finding diapers for baby that was 2kg weight, I cannot imagine how difficult it would be if baby is smaller than that.. Thank You Huggies!
Both Pampers and Huggies have had preemie diapers for at least 24 years (when our youngest was born at 2 lbs 2 oz.), but if Huggies has developed one even tinier than those were, that's pretty cool. 😊
How about they come up with a product that does not contribute to land fill.
I tried cloth diapers when my first baby came along and she would cry like the dickens if she peed, even only a little bit bc huggies pulls
Huggies pull the wetness away from their bodies!!

damn...like these huggies diapers and co aren't already everywhere, creating a huge pollution issue!
Arty, I can agree that disposable diapers are bad for the environment and we should be using reusable diapers when possible (we did), but cloth diapers are pretty bulky and it's a huge challenge to get cloth diapers that 1) fit a preemie and 2) are not so bulky as to keep the baby from laying properly because of their size. Besides that, caring for a preemie is very stressful, so even if a disposable diaper didn't have other advantages, I would not begrudge a parent of a preemie for eliminating the extra steps of washing and drying for at least a while.
Load More Replies...Given that BP has an international audience, why not write 'premature' so more people will understand it? Preemie is a stupid nickname anyway as it's not 'preemature' to begin with.
Omg will you stop being a fault-finder for a min & recognise what a good thing it is for this baby demographic to be catered to diaper-wise?
