Owners Wanted To See The Reactions Of Their Pets After They Get Unexpected Kisses (45 Pics)
Usually, pets love showing their human attention, love and giving them lots of snuggles. However, some pets want to be left alone and have their personal space respected. To see how their pets would react to a sudden expression of affection, these TikTok users filmed themselves kissing their lovely pets on the head.
This experiment had all kinds of results, from pets kissing back, looking confused, to some even getting mad. Some cats got out their claws, even. The trend shows all kinds of pets as well. Usually cats and dogs, but also chinchillas and even crocodiles. Perhaps this list will inspire you to try this on your own pet?

This trend was started by a person on TikTok known as Foopydrip. He wanted to start a new trend and urged other people to try it out with their own animals. The trend didn't go so well for Foopydrip himself, because his cat did strike him on the face. But hey, maybe you will be luckier?
Some people do a twist on this trend (which is usual for TikTok) and kiss their significant others, kids, other family members, or friends unexpectedly. Which is also quite funny to see and is a great prank. So if you don't have a pet, you can try that!

THIS IS PROFOUNDLY AND SUPREMELY IDIOTIC!!! And it perpetuates the dangerous (even deadly) trend of people Anthropomorphizing Animals. He probably says "He'd never hurt me, he 'loves' me". This kind of thing is why uninformed people approach wildlife and they (or the animals) end up injured or killed bc of it. This should be downvoted on principle alone.
Animals are creatures of instinct and habit . They will act predictably to stimuli 99.99% of the time. These guys are professional animal trainers . You must respect that they are wild animals at all times , even though they can create bonds with people. So, if you know what you're doing , and you do it the right way, who's to say if it's wrong ? Usually these are animals that for whatever reason we're unable to Survive in the wild. They're treated very well

I love the cats, dogs predictably are almost 100% sweet and loving in response. Cats, it is a toss up, either they will be totally sweet or react like, "Tina why did you disrespect my boundaries?"
This makes me miss my cat soulmate, Milo, so much. When I picked him and held him, if I said, “Give me a kiss,” he would headbutt my face and purr loudly while I kissed the top of his head. And he slept in my arms at night! He’s been gone a year and a half, and it still hurts so much.
Errr can I still participate in the trend if I have a Crayfish? Haha
The usual buttheads i get are only when she wants somenting. "Get my breakfast!" "Get my lunch!" "Get my snacks!, " " Get my dinner!" "Get my bedtime snack!" And so on, and so on and so on.

My dogs and I use Maori kisses. We rub noses. (I just don't really DO tongue kisses with my dogs)
I don't have a pet, but I do have a sister I hug that says I hug too much. This is partly because I hug her at work while we're busy.
I love how all the dogs were so happy after it happened and most of the cats were like, "DID I TELL YOU YOU COULD KISS ME? DID I?"
Every time my face touches his immaculately groomed fur he endures it with dignity (does not scratch me) and then washes said spot thoroughly. And we can do this all day...
some of my cats have loved kisses- they come to realize it means i love them and they enjoy the display of affection. my dumber cats don't get it and don't want it lol.

My daughter's dog has me as her emotional support grandma. She gets anxious and comes to lick my face when I'm lying down.If I kiss her back she has to climb higher on me to get closer.
For both cats and dogs - some of them read you putting your mouth near them as a threat. If your cat bites you when you do this - that's why.
