Guy Is Sharing Useful Tips He Wishes He Had Known Sooner, And Here Are 29 Of The Best Ones (New Posts)
Age equals wisdom, they say. And you can’t argue much. Just think of all the little things you had no clue about two days or two years ago. And we’re talking something seemingly insignificant, like correctly putting eyedrops in your eyes, tying trash bags and mastering zip lock bags. But boy, they make a difference.
And there’s a guy named Sidneyraz who basically won the internet for sharing these kind of tips and tricks with his huge audience of 3.3 million followers on his TikTok channel. Sidneyraz set out on a mission to “tell you things I didn’t know before I was in my 30s,” and so it’s basically an open offer to learn from his journey to know-how, aka slip ups, rather than learning them the hard way.
Below, we wrapped up some of Sidneyraz’s newest bits of advice, so scroll down and enjoy. Also, after you’re done, be sure to share more of his posts in our Bored Panda features here and here.

Powdered Sugar Is Just Regular Sugar Blended
I tried this with a flatmates blender years ago and a cloud of sugar came out the blender like it had caught fire. I utterly $hit myself thinking I'd written off her new blender and stuck to buying it pre-powdered ever since.
Sidneyraz decided to start his now-viral video series “things I didn’t know before I was in my 30s” after people really liked one of his first videos named 'Here's something you should know about being in your 30s. It's better than your 20s.' Many people found Sid’s content useful and relatable, and he immediately became a sensation. Now, Sid boasts a whopping 3.4 million followers and 98.4M total likes on his TikTok channel.

Travel Pillows Go In Front
In a previous interview with Bored Panda, Sid told us that his most popular videos are ones that have to do with the most common items that people use. That includes things like travel pillows, English muffins, trash bags, plungers, and so on."We all use the same things every day and [without questioning them] because that's how we were taught, but we have no idea why or if it's even right. So when I post a video showing a different way, it blows minds," the creator explained.

Sid believes that we tend to experience both heartbreak and true joy before our 30s. “There are large ups and downs but, hopefully, they help us to be more empathetic people. They’re hard lessons but needed," he told us a while back. The creator added that right now, he’s learning all these things too. “I don’t want anyone to feel as alone as I have in the past when I didn’t know something [older folks understood quite well]," the TikToker said.

You Can Clean And Sharpen A Coffee Grinder With Rice
I find this dubious. Cutting anything in a grinder necessarily dulls the blades somewhat. Might it "clean out" some of the residue there? Maybe. But saying that it "sharpens" the blades has to be wrong. Let's take this to it's logical conclusion: according to him, a grinder that is used only for rice would never get dull. I could be wrong, but this sounds like something that keeps getting passed around but is ultimately based on nothing.
You Can Actually Peel Many Cloves Of Garlic By Shaking It In A Container
It’s no secret that most people tend to romanticize nostalgia and look back on their memories with the sense that the old times were somehow better. It feels tempting to think of the old days as simpler and less chaotic than the present.
This is especially true when we look back on our childhood or earlier days, and focus on positive memories. In contrast, the present moment seems always challenging in one way or another, and only after it’s long gone can we look back at it with a sense of appreciation.

To Avoid Getting Burned, Light The Sparkles From The Bottom
I'm right there with you..... this doesn't make any sense to me. And you can't see a darn thing in the pic.
Load More Replies...I can see the logic here. You know that the flames won’t get any closer if you start at the bottom. They can’t sneak up on you if they’re moving away from you.
It's going to burn at the lowest point whether you start it there or let it burn down to there though.
Load More Replies...How the hell does this make sense? If the Sparkler gets lit at the other end it just means you're going to get burned earlier.
So that you get burned as soon as you light the sparkler, instead of waiting until it's almost finished burning. Man, this dud is an idiot.
So you just burn your hands more in the beginning than in the end. Simply genius.
I think he means to put the lighter under and the sparkler over, so that when the sparkler lights, the sparkles fly up onto your hand and arm.
Why does he have that creepy stare when talking about the "bottom"? :))))
Yep, light the thing at it's nearest point to shower your hand with red hot burning material right out the gate. Better yet, FCK sparklers! Your aren't a child anymore.
I'll assume sparkler, but I've never seen or heard anyone getting burned from a sparkler.
Young and stupid me burned my fingers two.different time with sparklers. Just cause it's not glowing anymore... Live and learn?
Load More Replies...Damn... You're special. There is a part you grab, and a part you Don't. Simple.
Why are so many people here burning themselves on sparklers? Just keep your hands (and the rest of your body) away from the hot part! Injury is NOT inevitable...
Either way they'll be a flame there at some point,, this way is just sooner than later,, Durrr
Yeah instead of getting burned at the end now you can get burned at the start!!
I'm doing this is my head and it is not working. I'm gonna have to go light a freakin sparkler and get burned I guess . Wtf?
The wire still gets HOT! Use a wooden clothes pin or a pot holder to protect your fingers!
But… you still have to hold it when you light it from the bottom? Isn’t it just the same thing but the other way round?
You Can Pour Grease Directly Into The Sink
No, you pour it in the middle of the trash can on top of whatever looks the least “melty”. You loose the game if it touches the trash bag while hot. Bonus points if you can pour it into some sort of container on the top of the trash.

friendly reminder you don’t have to be a b//tch and go “isn’t that common sense!!!??” or “who doesn’t know this??” because not everyone has the same experience in stuff. goobye
Why does this guy bring turn bored Pandas into grumpy pandas? Not everyone has had the same experiences. I'm way old and saw a couple of things I realized look easier to do than the way I have been doing them.
I think it makes people feel smart and superior to be like "Who didn't know that?" They just need their little ego boost from making people feel stupid.
Load More Replies...So many of these are either wrong or misleading. I haven't actually seen the videos themselves, which got me wondering whether it's possible that this guy actually includes a lot of caveats and exceptions in his videos that are not being communicated by THIS site in their headings for each item. They might want to think about that if it could lead to people damaging their property or getting injured.

I don't know why people are calling him an idiot. I've been following him for a while. He has a really nice account. And some people Do Not Know these tips.
Those who don't know them and never use them, are the lucky people. Some of these are dangerous. Blending sugar in a coffee blender???? The powder fumes is so fine, that they can easily explode, them put them into a coffee grinder with metal blades and an little engine to mix fast. Suddenly you have explosive powder and a really hot metal piece.
Load More Replies...Guessing this guy (like ME) had a shi++y m€+h add!c+ed mama?! who ain't teach him a d@mn thing?!!?!! CHEERS!! Even tho some of this is OTHERWORLD wrong or DUH, good show!!!

I'm sorry, did I miss the memo stating that every tip must be followed by excessively negative comments?
I follow this guy. I just love his reaction to finding out something.
You guys. I'm gonna say it again. NOT EVERYONE HAS HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCES, AND HE'S NOT AN IDIOT FOR THAT. Maybe some of his tips are wrong. DON'T USE THOSE. STOP BEING MEAN.
