According to Andrew DeYoung, the director of 555 and editor on The Eric Andre Show, the Adult Swim school of comedy is designed to “reflect the frenetic distribution of information on the internet.” And that’s why most of their shows are so chaotic and absurd.
Since there’s no time for a narrative joke to be said online, traditional punchline structure doesn’t work. “Instead, things are funny because they are willfully jarring and strange,” writes Rachel Aroesti for The Guardian. Weird Twitter and bizarre dank memes are perfect examples of how millennials break down the joke, decontextualize it, and create utter randomness.

I once got 'caught' by a store manager after the alarm went off, i was 12. I patiently waited right after the sirene, but nobody showed up. I got some angry faces from customers and personnel. I tested the alarm again by swinging my plastic bag trough the gates, it went off again. Nobody showed up... After one minute i started walking back to my bike, and right then someone grabbed me by the neck. He dragged me roughly to a small office where i had to empty my pockets and bag. He checked the receipt and saw that I didn't steel anything. He tested the alarm with my bag, it went off. They seem to have forgotten to remove a tag. I was 19 when i had the guts to enter that store again.

That’s a bit dangerous. Although I have walked to the shops and as I am almost half way home I have thought “I don’t even remember walking to the shops”. It’s like I was just suddenly placed there without knowing how I got there. Does that make sense? Kind of like I was on auto pilot.

When it's super-hot, I will spray down a bed-sheet with water so it's damp and cool. I will never be able to sleep without a blanket.
When I was born I didn't like being swaddled so I'd wriggle around until I got a foot out. To this day, still do it when I get hot.
I have a cooling blanket. Most amazing thing EVER... that is, out of the necessities. Technology and books are better.
If you have a blanket on, the monsters can't get you. I'm 72 and I still can't sleep without a blanket covering at least part of my body.
As long as your feet don't hang off the bed out of the covers, you'll be safe from the monsters!
When it gets hot in the summer I only use the covering of the blanket (dunno what its called, a duvet cover, I think?). I need to have something covering me, but a real blanket gets too warm^^
That’s why I sleep with the air conditioner on and a fan blowing directly on me.

Bits of me are undercover, some parts hugging an ice pack, in front of a fan, with a heat pack on my lower back at the same time (when it's so hot I'm melting)

When I see someone diving in a movie or so, I hold my breath until I recalibrate my mind the necessary bit. Never planned this or so, it just happened and one time I perceived it, and from then, I always did, always knew I don't have to, but still, when I'm just watching without much thinking, I do it.
There should be a club. We have a lot in common. As usual, the comments are a riot.
Life is so ironic and crazy and I think that's what makes life so interesting. Some of these things I haven't done personally, but I bet there are people who have done them.
These aren't funny, they're sad. They also prove what I always say: Everyone under 40 is neurotic in one way or the other. Everything under the sun causes anxiety, you get insulted over anything you perceive as a slight (which is pretty much everything), everyone has OCD and is a hypochondriac, which is why this Covid bluff has worked so effectively against you nits. Einstein said it years ago (paraphrasing): when the majority of people don't understand the technology they use every day and are completely reliant on it, the world will see the stupidest generation in human history. And here it is!
