It's a common trope among many guys to claim that they simply don't understand women - whether it is willful ignorance or not is another question, but there seems to be a fashionable yet lazy acceptance that women are a complete mystery so there is no point in trying.
Well, there's no excuse now fellas. Turns out, all we had to do was ask! Women on Twitter have decided to take matters into their own hands with the viral hashtag #WhatMenDontKnowAboutWomen.
While they clearly don't speak for all women, the discussion is incredibly insightful and educational, as posters take turns sharing their experiences and frustrations about the kinds of things that just seem to pass many men by. The trouble with things like this is that the ones who have had the worst experiences are more likely to post than the rest of us who meet totally normal, decent men. I also think (and will probably be downvoted for) is that some women are attracted to the 'bastards' as they are usually brimming with confidence in themselves and women see that as strong and protecting. The number of times I've heard women say they fancied the character Gene Hunt from Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes despite the fact he was a sexist git he thought he was wonderful. Where is the generalization? It says most men. It may be annoying to see lots of repetitive posts like this. They are swarming now because feminism is a trend atm. Women are saying most of those things since forever, but it was all dismissed till now. There still is plenty of sexism everywhere and things shall be repeated again and again till they sink in and all men understand. Just because some men already knows those doesn't mean all men does.
