It's a common trope among many guys to claim that they simply don't understand women - whether it is willful ignorance or not is another question, but there seems to be a fashionable yet lazy acceptance that women are a complete mystery so there is no point in trying.
Well, there's no excuse now fellas. Turns out, all we had to do was ask! Women on Twitter have decided to take matters into their own hands with the viral hashtag #WhatMenDontKnowAboutWomen.
While they clearly don't speak for all women, the discussion is incredibly insightful and educational, as posters take turns sharing their experiences and frustrations about the kinds of things that just seem to pass many men by. Worse for women who have endometriosis. It's never, ever "just a period", the pain and discomfort is there even when not bleeding, it even worsens or causes symptoms of GORD and IBS
Most men don’t understand this concept. They, apparently, have never really listened to their woman or don’t care about her pain and discomfort-periods can be pure hell for any woman!
My periods used to last 7-10 days and come every 3 weeks, and on day one I would pass out.
That I do not contest. I even go buying tampons if need be, and don't give a damn about who sees me doing this "unmanly" thing.

my bf had testicular torsion once, and they told him the pain he went through was equal to childbirth. I'm not trying to minimise the pain he went through or deny it, but it starts to get old when he always brings it up to try and stop me complaining about period pain or say he knows what it's like!

Where is the generalization? It says most men. It may be annoying to see lots of repetitive posts like this. They are swarming now because feminism is a trend atm. Women are saying most of those things since forever, but it was all dismissed till now. There still is plenty of sexism everywhere and things shall be repeated again and again till they sink in and all men understand. Just because some men already knows those doesn't mean all men does. Women deal with b******t daily, men will deal with b******t too till things change. I don't see much improvement, where is it?
