Well Jeff gender reassignment surgery and support are valid treatments of gender dysphoria and have been shown to rapidly decrease trans suicide rates. The genitals aren't "mutilated" they are reconstructed something plenty of cis people go through not to mention that it can take years of phycological evaluations, hormone therapy, and tons of doctors saying it's the right call before surgery is even thought of. So stop talking about things you don't understand.

Rosalind I am so sorry that this is how the world still treats people that don't fit their definition of normal. Trans women are women and trans men are men. Unfortunately the sexist, racist, classist patriarchy are the ones that have been in charge of making the rules. It's not going to be that way forever though. I support you, and there are so many millions of others that support you too. Everyone has the right to exist however makes them happy, and nobody can tell you how to live your life because nobody on this earth is perfect. Eli, no one is having their gender reassigned. And there are many separate procedures for gender Affirmation, and they don't have to include bottom surgery at all.

The Amsterdam study on this subject that ran' from 72-17 actually showed only a slight reduction in M to F trans suicide rates & no change in F to M. Being trans suicide rate is roughly 10x the average I'd say more effort should be put into treating the underlying mental issues that cause the dysphoria instead of indulging it. Keeping people from killing themselves should take precedence over "wokeness" . It is quite appalling to me actually that mentally ill people are being used to promote a virtue signalling narrative. So much for me being a hater

If all you ever saw of people's understanding of you and your experience looked like this fvcking comments section, you might have a pretty rough time getting through the day, too.
