Work for illustrators seems to be drying up. 10 years ago, I’d be up all hours trying to finish the work I had coming in. Then a few years ago, it seemed like companies were happy to just use stock images to avoid paying for originality. I always loved folk art and all the Southern potters in America as well as the traditional English potters and their rich honey glaze sgrafitto pots, so I decided to try it myself.
I’ve tried to instill my sense of humour and the way I see the world into my pots. I hope that you enjoy them!
