This rig aptly named ‘Bruce Banner’ is built on a Mercedes Sprinter base. It started life as a white 2WD cargo van and has had a solid axle swap out, giving it 8.5 total inches of lift. Custom tuned for 37×13.50 tires and an additional 4.5 inches of track on each side, making this rig a truly capable 4×4 overland beast.
Bruce is equip for long range travel without replenishing, featuring a 28gal reserve diesel fuel tank. The full time couple have 40gal of water on board, this with their diesel powered hot water heater allows them to enjoy hot showers every day.
Up top the rig has 375watts of solar, along with charging via the alternator this keeps their 600AH of lithium batteries full, running their fans, lights, power and indoor and outdoor stereos!
If the heart of your home is the kitchen this rig has a big heart. The interior was built by Colorado based van builders TouRig. The team knew this couple loved to cook so they included an 85L fridge and 65L freezer with diesel cook top.
The rig features a rugged external ballistic coating making the whole vehicle scratch proof. With extra storage, recovery gear, and much more Bruce will be your best friend and strongest ally in an apocalyptic world!
