You can assume a lot of things after seeing a person’s car. One of those things is their financial status. You can also guess if they like speed or if they have a big family. These things are not that obvious and just hypotheses; however, some people like to make their views on certain topics to be very obvious as they plaster the outside of their vehicles with stickers declaring them.

There is a whole subreddit dedicated to cars with crazy messages or stickers called The Cars Of Infowars. People share photos of cars being excessively decorated with political signs or announcing their opinion about current events in the world. Some of them are so ridiculous that the only thing left to do is laugh at them.

The subreddit was created not that long ago, on March 23, 2018, and it currently has 134k members. In the description it says “For all cars with crazy messages and/or stickers. These are the rides of the warriors of information.”

Most of the time people share those photos because they just look ridiculous and can give a little laugh. Another problem is that they often block the back window of the car which can be unsafe. The stickers may be excessive, but the messages usually are even worse, showing support for Trump, guns or even nazis.

Trump supporters decorate their cars with his images and put up flags all over that not only block the vehicle driver’s view, but also can be dangerous for other road users.

Among these cars, sometimes you can see an odd one who actually mocks those who support the right wing and puts up stickers with Biden or signs saying that they wish racial equality would be reached.

Usually, people express their opinions by talking about them or writing them down in an appropriate context, but the owners of these cars want everybody to know at all times what their stance is on important events in their country’s life and look down upon those who don’t share the same beliefs.

It seems unnecessary and it instigates conflicts because every side thinks that they are the right ones and would never believe the other side’s proof as it could be fabricated or twisted.

For those unaware of the Birds Aren’t Real conspiracy: (from Wikipedia) Birds Aren't Real is a satirical conspiracy theory which posits that birds are actually drones operated by the United States government to spy on American citizens. In 2018, journalist Rachel Roberts described “Birds Aren't Real" as "a joke that thousands of people are in on".

Do you know that they invented drones that can s**t on you with great aim? Especially when you just washed your car

True s**t. A red tail hawk is often posted up on a fence post on my way to work. I got suspicious as soon as I saw this post, so I checked out his perch. Sure enough, a USB port. Turns out that this evil drone is the one responsible for my car warranty being about to expire, and people have been calling to warn me about this, and I've callously ignored them. How blind could I have been? It's all starting to make sense now... At first I blamed the crows. But crows are black. Don't want to be labeled a racist, so I'll blame a different bird. A big white one. Yeah, that's it. A big white bird forced the hawk...uh nope, bullied the hawk into...nope, not that either. Drones can't be bullied. S**t. Ok. An evil white bird hacked into the hawk drone. Yep, that's it right there. Hacked into the drone with false information regarding my car warranty and... somehow trump is trolling me for not being patriotic to politics on this disc shaped earth, and I just don't know what to do anymore. But I should check on my warranty for sure though, because that's seems to be important...

This particular van has to be satirical...mainly because everything is spelled correctly and the text is appropriately spaced!

I just read a interview with the guy. It's an all-in satire of conspiracy theories, complete with phony "evidence", an actor portraying a former CIA operative "coming clean", to picketing Twitter HQ over their bird logo. https://www.seattletimes.com/business/birds-arent-real-or-are-they-inside-a-gen-z-conspiracy-theory/

Poe's Law: Without a blatant signal, such as a winking face, there is no way to discern satire from genuine extremism. It's honestly no more crazy that flat earth or 5G microchip anti-vax "theories."

I power washed a rather flat bird off the grill of one of our trucks. No wires, chips, or other technology came from the bird. Just some feathers, and organic material that one may reasonably expect to find in a real bird. I therefore conclude that at least one bird was real. And f****n Tim hit it...

The best part about this is when they say birds perched on power lines are recharging. Sadly, there are people out there who will believe it.

I am laughing to myself right now because it is like we are back in the 1960s where a good portion of people actually thought this way, now that I'm thinking about it is quite sad.

Psychology Today says that offensive opinionated people just want to feel in control. The way they feel like they’re doing that is by intimidating someone until they agree or infuriate a person to the point they can’t think clearly because they’re trying to not burst.

These people think that they know things the best and it’s hard to convince them otherwise. It’s actually best to not do that as it will only lead to a bigger conflict, so remaining diplomatic and politely ending the conversation would be a good solution.

It is clear that people with stickers and banners on their cars have very strong opinions and it would be scary to meet them on the road, but in this subreddit, we can observe them from the safety of our device screen.

What do you think of The Cars Of Infowars? Have you seen them in real life? Maybe you have some opinionated stickers on your car? Share your reactions and thoughts in the comments!

Further proof is any needed that people like me, who grew up in the middle of nowhere, are *not* automatically right-wing/neo-conservatives. My fam tends to be socialist, in fact, and we don't flinch from admitting it.
