In 2018, Lorna & Jill Watt of Knits For Life launched the very first yarn-bomb-along, a street art focused twist on the more traditional knit-along / crochet-along. Soon after, Florida-based yarn bomber @yarngardener visited Austin, Texas and spotted a monster foot masterpiece, knit/crocheted and installed by @hanasaurusrex.
