Imagine if weddings were a celebration of love, and she happened to love how casual and laid back he is, and he happened to love that she accepted him that way. That'd be neat.

Great idea if you want your wedding to smell like pee.

thatsitimweddingshaming Report

Anna and Sarah, team leaders at The Wedding Society spoke to Bored Panda about unruly and rude guests, and how to manage them. In short, it’s important to let go of the idea that weddings can be ‘perfect’: some things will go wrong no matter what. So it’s vital to be able to adapt and not take any minor flaws in the plan personally.

“Some people just want to watch the world burn, and as hosts to an event, it's just something that wedding couples will have to accept,” Anna and Sarah explained to us that the happy couple has to be realistic about the fact that not everyone will be well-behaved and polite on this happy occasion. No matter how much we might want them to.

thatsitimweddingshaming Report

“Not everyone is going to fall in line, especially your anarchist uncle Jerry with the overgrown beard. That said, try to fall back on your vendor support system as leverage,” the experts pointed out that the marrying couple shouldn’t have to do everything themselves. They can’t worry about every tiny detail or mishap. They should turn to the venue’s staff to help them handle all the issues.

“Simply saying, ‘The venue has rules’ or, ‘Our caterers have agreed to only..’" is an easy way to take the blame off yourself but still enforce hard rules,” the wedding expert shared how couples can shut down some bad behavior among guests. It’s a way to misdirect some of the havoc-wreakers’ negative emotions elsewhere.

Clear heels are often associated with strippers. Also feet are rank, nobody needs to see sweaty hooves at a wedding.

They’re better than old-school plastic that turned yellow after 2 or 3 wearings but they have to be sized up.

Retired stripper here. People need to stop worrying about clear heels with us. You really want to know what shoes we prefer? Pleasers. They make lots of clear shoes. Absolutely but we don’t wear clear just because it’s clear. Clear shoes are easy to modify to the foots natural shape with a little heat from a hair dryer. We wear pleasers because of the insoles though. Also with pleasers a platform makes the insole feel like a cloud. For comfort quality and durability choose pleasers.

I wore white sneakers to my wedding. Staying on my feet for hours would have been torture. I was thinking of blinging them up, but lost track of time. So just light beige keds to go with the cream dress.

The shoes are at least half a size too small, maybe a while size. No one’s going to see the number on the box, but they will see you hobbling in pain. Also, what’s with the 1 pant leg? Is this someone *other* than the bride trying on her shoes? That could be an explanation as to why they are too small.

I'm, curious...is that the bride's feet because I'm trying to figure out the one rumpled pant leg?? If that's the bride's outfit, I'd say the shoes must be to distract attention for everything above the ankle!

What's with this Disney themed horror? These glass slippers(plastic) wouldn't be as bad if not for that weirdly square and oversized heel. Not to mention the inevitable blood or sweat that would be clearly visible and no ability to use a band aid for hot spots.

Cinderella’s shoes fit her perfectly, that is not the case here. The feet are bulging out over the top and the toes are squashed in at outward angles. Feet can be tastefully displayed in sandals, not in these. They are are completely unacceptable. Flip flops would have looked better.
