If your new husband can’t be bothered enough to at least wear a button up shirt and slacks...then you may need to throw him back to the trailer park and go fishing for a better catch

Imagine if weddings were a celebration of love, and she happened to love how casual and laid back he is, and he happened to love that she accepted him that way. That'd be neat.

Imagine thinking you know better than bride and groom what they should be wearing to their own. damn. wedding. And judging their level of love from one photo, which doesn't crrespond to your outdated idea that every wedding should look exactly the same. Yeah, I'd rather be a guest at their wedding than whoever posted that.

Wow, level of love!? This has gone too far the other way... he's barely grasping her hand... that's a big fat stretch, we have no idea either way. Come on, it's an important day, she put in a sh*t load of effort he can at least wear a shirt with sleeves.

People who live in trailer Parks do not deserve your scorn. You are stereotyping And demeaning them. I know many fine people who live in manufactured homes and they do so for many reasons, chief among those reasons being that it's the only housing they can afford. So you are equating poverty with rude classless stupid behavior. Is that what you intended?

I HATE when people talk about trailer parks and poor people this way. And it often comes from "woke" people.

Yep. These are the kinds of weddings my family has: she cares, he can't be bothered. She wears a nice dress, begs him to put on a suit, he promises he'll "take care of" planning the honeymoon. Comes the wedding day, and he shows up in a tux t-shirt thinking it's the pinnacle of comedy, and gosh, "forgot" to do all the honeymoon thing, but they'll just go stay at the local Motel 8, that's fine. And she'll make excuses and capitulate because she doesn't want to upset him. It then continues with their marriage and children. Just aim a little bit higher, everyone, maybe?

What if they didn't have money enough for all of the fancy things but the most important thing for him was for her to feel special? I don't know, just a thought that crossed my mind trying to look for the good in people.

I am still married to my husband and what I told both of my children when they asked for advice concerning weddings, I told them that in MY OPINION, it's a waste of money, spent on one day. That same amount of money could go towards buying a house etc....wear whatever you want

Went to a wedding where bride and groom wore hogwashers. Married is married no matter how you dress. By the way, they have been married for almost 30 years. I'm sure their grandkids get a kick out of the wedding pictures.

I can hardly imagine a more a*****e thing to do! [she said while clutching pearls] Btw plenty of brides choose dresses to show off their tattoos and rarely get shamed for that.

The fact of the matter is that it’s far from just brides and grooms who cause drama and create situations that everyone will be gossiping about for years and years to come. There are some truly peculiar people out there who end up being invited to celebrations of love, only to try and ruin them. Some folks simply take pleasure in causing chaos wherever they go. Weddings are no exception.

Great idea if you want your wedding to smell like pee.

thatsitimweddingshaming Report

Anna and Sarah, team leaders at The Wedding Society spoke to Bored Panda about unruly and rude guests, and how to manage them. In short, it’s important to let go of the idea that weddings can be ‘perfect’: some things will go wrong no matter what. So it’s vital to be able to adapt and not take any minor flaws in the plan personally.

“Some people just want to watch the world burn, and as hosts to an event, it's just something that wedding couples will have to accept,” Anna and Sarah explained to us that the happy couple has to be realistic about the fact that not everyone will be well-behaved and polite on this happy occasion. No matter how much we might want them to.

Herbalife as a wedding theme? If I were invited to this wedding, I would walk out

thatsitimweddingshaming Report

“Not everyone is going to fall in line, especially your anarchist uncle Jerry with the overgrown beard. That said, try to fall back on your vendor support system as leverage,” the experts pointed out that the marrying couple shouldn’t have to do everything themselves. They can’t worry about every tiny detail or mishap. They should turn to the venue’s staff to help them handle all the issues.

“Simply saying, ‘The venue has rules’ or, ‘Our caterers have agreed to only..’" is an easy way to take the blame off yourself but still enforce hard rules,” the wedding expert shared how couples can shut down some bad behavior among guests. It’s a way to misdirect some of the havoc-wreakers’ negative emotions elsewhere.

“By now you will have developed a relationship with them [the professionals] and they'll often be more than happy to put the foot down on your behalf—especially venue staff,” they pointed out that the people the wedding couples have hired are there to help in any way that they can.
