Rescuing abandoned dogs for us is just a simple act, but for these unfortunate pups, this is a life-changing event. We basically save their lives when we rescue them, but for the Thai man in this viral video, getting them out of the streets is not enough. He gave them their own luxury home.
Fortunately for him, he lives in the countryside. So there is no shortage of materials at his disposal. He starts off by putting together the foundations and frames of the little house that the puppies will be calling home. He used some twine and pliable vines to hold them together.
After the frame, he mixed two parts mud and one part grass to make a clay mixture that he will use instead of concrete. He applied this mixture on the roof and the walls of the house. He even made circular windows to allow sufficient ventilation for this cute little home.
After allowing the clay to dry under the sun, he made a small “pool” for the doggos. For this area of the puppy estate, he used concrete. He then added some grass and flowers to make the place more colorful and homey. Take note that the roots of the grass were included so that it will not wither.
But our Thai hero is not done yet. He made a fish pond right in front of the house. The water from the pool will flow to the fish pond where a miniature watermill was placed. He used some bamboo and some metal fixings to put the contraption in place. Overall, this man went above and beyond what dog lovers do. We hope he inspires many to do the same.
