Raccoons and possums are cute! Theres some really colourful tropical looking birds like hummingbirds, cardinals and bluebirds too
The food, There is a flock of wile parrots where I live, The music, the festivals, people of all sorts being friends and sharing their culture,the diversity of the land, amusement parks (even if they are expensive), and of course books
For all the attention that's paid to the bulls**t, there are, in fact, a massive number of our population who are unwilling to just let it happen. It doesn't get much (positive) media attention, and it can certainly feel scary right now. But those people are there.
