Japanese Teacher Surprises His Students With His Stunning Chalkboard Art

Remember the Taiwanese teacher who creates stunning educational masterpieces on his chalkboard? Well, looks like we’ve found another teacher with mad chalk drawing skills – it’s Hirotaka Hamasaki.

Also known as Hamacream, this Japanese art teacher and graphic designer recreates world known art masterpieces on his blackboard. From Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’ to Pablo Picasso’s ‘Guernica’ – this teacher has recreated it all. Plus, he also illustrated a scene from the anime film ‘Your Name’ (Kimi no Na Wa). You can find Hamacream’s work on Instagram.

How could anyone even bear to clean the board... this is too amazing to be dusted off. It must be kept in a museum for all time

Yes! I agree! Also, it must be a pain to clean it up, actually... Realistically speaking.... But then again, these are now forever kept within photos, so somehow they are preserved.

I didn't even suspect you could do any of that with chalk. Wonderful!

Impressive works. I just don't understand the whole "temporary art" concept. If I spent even a half hour on a piece of work, I want to be sure it won't just vanish. After I'm dead, well, then whatever.

this post makes my teeth hurt looking at it - memories of chalk scraping the board in the wrong way.

Ephemeral art - not everyone would invest the time and talent for such fleeting pleasure.

Just WOW! Which anime is in the fourth scene (if it is not his original creation)?
