Since early childhood, I’ve had a passion for monsters, mummies, and fish. When I reached the age of 20, I decided to combine all three and create mummified monster fish!

And now, 25 years later, I made my passion into a fulltime job, and I create monsters for museums and collectors worldwide.

I want to show you some of my work, from aggressive river monsters to scary deep-sea fish.

And if you would like to see more monsters, check out my Instagram linked below!

I saw one of these alive in an aquarium and it scared the hell out of me. Romans used to like to eat them, tho

"Lampreys have long been used as food for humans. They were highly appreciated by the ancient Romans. During the Middle Ages, they were widely eaten by the upper classes throughout Europe—especially during Lent when eating meat was prohibited, on account of their meaty taste and texture." "Adults superficially resemble eels in that they have scaleless, elongated bodies, and can range from 13 to 100 cm (5 to 40 inches) in length."(Wikipedia)

These things terrify me more than a piranha ever would. That's a mouth straight out of the Alien franchises.

This whole thread is just a testament to why I don't do beach days or swim in natural bodies of water.
