Young artist Arminas Raugevičius presented our well known world leaders in an unusual way. His works spread through social network instantly and got a big feedback from society. Some of them were judging the artist for mocking the politics, and others were clapping hands seeing well known persons in a very new age like looks.
Artist himself is speaking about discrimination. Tattoos in some parts of the world is a big, big NO if you wan’t get a job in big corporations, for example in a bank. Arminas is saying: “What is tabu now, can be OK in a few years. This is not only about the looks, people are being discriminated by their race, religion, even disablement… Society is lacking openness and we need to speak about it.”
