41 Tattooed Seniors Answer The Eternal Question: How Will Your Ink Look When You’re 60
In 2012, more than 20 percent or 45 million Americans had one or more tattoos, so it is no more a surprise to sport some body art. And that number comprises not only of people in their early twenties but also a nice percentage of older people with tattoos. So we bet that most of the 45 million people before getting their tattoo designs inked were asked to think how they would look when they're in their 60s. Well, the best answer to that would probably be that no one will look as good in their sixties that they did in their twenties, so the ink has nothing to do with that, really.
Many people balk at the idea of getting a tattoo, either fearing that the aged tattoos will look bad or that it would be unfitting for an older person. While that's a matter of personal taste, these older people with tattoos are here to show you that their tattoo ideas and execution are just as impressive now as they were back then.
If you have a photo of some cool tattoos on older people, then we'd love to have their picture here in this list! Also, don't be so amazed that these elderly badasses are sporting some really nice ink and not your typical old people tattoos.

She looks as if she stopping him from tickling her. they look very happy and in love.
The look on his face tells it all he still sees her as young and vibrant and she is...
Great. I'd like to have a sleeve but it will cost me my job. I've to wait for my retirement I guess.
um, love the tats, but I can do without the rings. Not for me to judge, though, is it?
This lady still has some serious muscle in that arm too. Good on her :)
I bet she was/is in the Circus and if her head was shaved it would have a full tat.
This man can't be 60! 40 maybe? Some men really wear grey/white hairs /facial hairs well. Damn he is looking good.
Some really interesting faces, I bet he has a lot of stories to tell.
You mean LOSING, NOT loosing, which means getting looser.
Load More Replies...As a tattooed woman who's been asked this many times, I shall gleefully acquaint them with this article. Hazaar!
Exactly. There's no way that most of these tattoos are as old as the people they're on.
Load More Replies...I think this post just proves that tattoos look amazing at all ages. I'm so glad I finally got one and look forward to more.
I love tatts my pop is 76 and is still getting tattoos he loves them
It all comes down to how well you take care of your tattoo AND your body! Most of them did a great job!
Most of them look no different than what they originally had, I am so inspired to know this as a tattooed chick!
Elderly does NOT mean people in the 50's, ffs. The author is clearly ignorant. 65 is where elderly begins in the USA. The new title for the article should read like "The Best Gen-X and Boomer Tattoos Ever!" Not showing 53 year olds. lol
Aging is not sad, is it sad to be a baby, child or teenager? It's life. It is how you think and live that counts and that can be sad.
What this atical has shown me is... You Just Gotta Rock It!! Don't be worried what others think! Just ROCK Your Tattoos!
actually seeing these very interesting photos makes me want to get tattoos so i CAN have them when i'm older. :)
Some of those guys look pretty spunky with their beards and sleeve tatts. Good stuff!

I'd like to know how long they've had these tattoos. My uncle got one during WWII when he was in his early 20's, but you couldn't read the words at all 30 years later. Maybe if he'd just stuck to pictures?
Three questions: what are the ages of these people; how long ago did they have their tattoos put on; and have they added to or touched up their tatts at any time since they were done?
if when I am old all I care about is what I/my ink looks like I haven't lived the life I set out too, I hope my concern is w my family
I think they all look great. I don't have tattoos because my skin is way to sensitive to the process but kudos to all of these folks!
