Moscow-based digital and tattoo artist Stanislaw Wilczynski creates minimalist geometric tattoo designs inspired by the Russian suprematism movement. His creative tattoos could be recognized from mostly bold and very distinctive lines, although what’s new here is that Wilczynski also introduces us to a very interesting approach in body art – “digimatism”.
Digimatism, as the artist states on his website, “is a term to describe pure, non-evocative, abstract shapes created by means of digital technologies.” The term itself is formed from two words: “digital” and already mentioned abstract art movement “suprematism” characterized by geometrical shapes that are associated with ideas of spiritual purity. Combining it with German minimalism, and futuristic Japanese ambiance, Stanislaw Wilczynski creates these clean-designed tattoo ideas with the help of computers. Scroll down and take a look at these unique tattoos for yourself.
