I actually know a guy who thinks this. I was at church and in a room with a bunch of fellow teenagers and I hear this guy and girl arguing about breast feeding. The guy was complaining about how it’s not milk and all that s**t and the girl was trying to explain to him that it is perfectly healthy and everything. The guy says “y’all aren’t cows!” And then another girl just goes “moo moo motherf*cker” and everyone else starts laughing.
Milk comes from cows and it's made by cows for their babies, not for you, you idiotic cruel morons. You take cows' babies from them and kill them so you could steal their mothers' milk. Human mothers make milk for their babies, just like cows make milk only for calves, not for you!!!

This is the only benefit that this liquid has, what else should be done with it? The liquid is only very healthy for babies because it is converted from healthy food and thus arises, otherwise it can be that from the body of the mother / parent the nutrients are taken out and added to the liquid. And the parent gets deficiencies before the baby and if these nutrients are not found in the body, the baby can also get deficiency symptoms that cause developmental disorders. Therefore, a healthy diet is important, and it is not so that it automatically becomes the healthiest for babies. Babies should not get cow's milk because it contains too much protein in which the kidneys are overwhelmed with the processing, human milk contains much less protein than cow's milk, and the intestine is not yet mature to digest foreign milk well.

I know this post won't be very popular, as I recognize there are so many reasons not to breastfeed, by choice or not, and I totally respect that, but in my opinion formula is gross. It's (usually) a highly transformed cow milk with nutrients added, sugar, fats and proteins, less salt, etc. In fact it's like every highly transformed industrial food... Junk food for babies. Nobody knows exactly what there's inside, and nobody dares to ask. Formula isn't milk.
I'm somewhat of your opinion. I do think it is a great invention for Mothers who cannot breastfeed, but I think, as long as you are able to breastfeed (without pain etc), then you should always opt for the natural option of breastmilk. Yes, fed is best, but breastmilk is still the more healthy version of the two. Formula emulates breastmilk. It is not the same. Breastmilk is custom made for that specific child on a daily basis, always adapting to the needs of the baby, giving the perfect amount of nutrients and anti bodies and even changes during the feeding process from a more solid to a more fluid form as a drink instead of a meal. Formula just can't do that.

I have a theory that our toxic competitive social structure helps to create this issue. People are like this because they are incapable of self reflection and assuming blame for their own short comings. But why are so many of us so bad at self reflection? I think it is because we are made to be hyper competitive as soon as we start school. Admitting any sort of flaw makes you less desirable and less competitive, but being incapable of self reflection and self improvement makes your value dramatically decrease. Insecurity and fear of personal flaws seems to be the underlining cause of half of these posts.
And all the over-scheduling of our kids! From the time they wake up til they go to bed - go to school all day, then soccer/football/swimming/piano/dance/gymnastics/whatever, all while eating fast food in the car between practice/lessons/games & trying to do homework...no down time, no peaceful family dinners, no 'alone' time, no relaxing with a good book. It's sad.
